Love your work, love your mission; worship Raksha Dave. Sadly, this is the second video I anxiously awaited only to find that the audio is far below customary standards for these days (and for 2018). As a result, meaningful information was not well presented and future supporters are lost. Suggest that you consult with other organizations and You Tube vloggers, even, to learn about and deploy high quality audio for your many fans. I am a broad consumer of You Tube content and I know many organizations, and many who are not well funded, have the right audio equipment to get their content properly delivered. Best wishes for your continued success as an organization. Keep up the good work.
@@markuschampos5750 You think that was whining? It was a super polite, MORE than fair constructive criticism of the consistently poor production of the majority of the event. "Everybody like me is grateful" that you're not in a position of power or making creative decisions because (and I know you won't understand this) it's actually YOU who are the whiny one, petulantly demanding someone conform to your abysmally low standards and presuming yourself to be in the right thinking majority. But by all means, continue angrily espousing the virtues of mediocrity and scolding strangers on the internet, you're really winning at life.
Please, do this video again: the presentation on the screen as just the slides and the talk spoken again, make a webinar of it, so we can see and hear all those very interesting knowledge. Please?
Just because people at the time of excavation were upset the central tree was being removed doesn't mean they should be referred to in a derogatory wa. It was a sacred site that was destroyed.
Thanks for the slides link, very helpful. I wonder if a transcript of the talk is available to follow along? Slides at www.slideshare.net/mobile/DigNation/11-frances-pryor-the-fens-in-the-bronze-age
I used to think Francis was over the top with his focus on 'ritual landscapes'. After doing a lot of research? Crow tastes better with ketchup. ;) He's absolutely correct. Compared to us, the ancients had an alien mindset and worldview. About the only thing we have in common with them is Maslow's Hierarchy.
Oh dear....once again the audio and screen presentation was dreadful....I did stay with it until the end...however my understanding of what was being said was very sketchy.... is there some way that this presentation could be redone....valuable information has gone to waste.
I’m wondering if this is “live” in real time, as lecture being given, or “live” in sense that it’s first running of a previously-recorded lecture. Says this talk “was given”, so assuming this is the latter. Surely DigNation wouldn’t be gathering all these people together while the novel coronavirus is running through the land?
Off focus image together with exceptionally bad sound isn't something even an amateur YT channel would make public - but you have no qualms about putting it up here! I would sincerely HOPE the reports from your archaeological research is on this level
The sound is terrible. Spoiled the whole thing, sorry to say. Also one can never see what is on the screen. In this day and age, it really needs tone better than this.
I really really wanted to watch this video, but the audio and my hearing just couldn’t get along . Too bad, because he’s such a wealth of information

Stop whining, this is youtube. Everybody like me is grateful seeing this. If you want better sound you probably had to be there.

Great talk, very enthusiastic and informative. Big fan of Mr Pryor.
Please improve your audio, This was so hard to follow.

Even with closed captioning on, I can't tell what he's saying. Sad cuz he's my 2nd favorite TT cast member
Can't wait!
shared on the fb time team page so will be quite a few of us..

Was looking forward to this. But gave up with the poor sound and rubbish visuals.
Same here. Pity.
Likewise. Had to give up because of the poor quality. Even a basic phone could give better results than this. Disappointed :(
@@gerrybvr my thoughts exactly.

This talk was filmed in September 2018, don't worry!
DigNation18, as in 2018 ;)
I cannot watch this with such awful audio and wonky CC :(
Get yer audio sorted out. FFS!
