The 2024 Topps base cards are going to be impossible to gem. All my Elly's, Jasson's, and Evan's had tiny white dotted corners. A lot of 9s and very few 10s are coming.
PSA is in New Jersey too? I live in NJ that would make the turn around faster then CA. It seems so hard to get a PSA 10 - just looking at the 9's they look just like the 10's to me, but I guess that is why I am not a PSA worker. That is my only downside of sending cards to PSA, is the card I have worth sending in to get graded. I would not want to send anything in that would have a 8 or less. I do not know how to tell the difference when it is so close. Need like a pre-screen app or something
Hi, I usually use the card saver or ultra-pro semi-rigid sleeves. They have a couple different sizes but for bowman autos I use a penny sleeve, then pull tab and put into the card saver semi-rigid so it’s easiest for PSA grader to take out. Hope that helps
@@1982cmf Depends on how thick, for the mem or relic patches, I have used a larger UltraPro Semi-Rigid. If you search up the Ultra-Pro it should give 'holds cards up to 3-3/16' x 4-1/4' on the description, I think that's the standard size I use for Bowman Autos but there are bigger ones available that have the size/space to hold the soft sleeved thicker cards. Just want to make sure you can fit into the sleeve/holder without damaging the card and that the grading team can remove safely. If you have a local card shop you can go to that would be better than my recommendation I'm sure :)
Regarding the 2024 Topps paper, I saw it coming after Topps revealed its design. I knew the gem rate was going to be lower this year due to that damn upper black border. Same thing is gonna happen with the 2024 Heritage 1975 multicolored borders on paper. I'll buy 1 Heritage box, but that's gonna be about it. I mean, even if you can't see a tiny white tip corner with the naked eye, a 10 powered scope will reveal it, and could knock it down to a 9.
Pronounced Young, but it's spelled Jung Is it worth sending in base cards to PSA? U must have spent a ton on that order. Still like the cards and the video. That Gunnar is a sick card
Thanks. For the base I’m usually looking to get graded quick and sell quick if possible but generally not a great strategy 😂 PSA did have the baseball special I used for this though so not too bad.
Shoots, not sure how I worded that but if it’s the kids’ cards and we sell them they get the money put into their Greenlight account where they can spend, save or invest. Thanks

Agree on that for sure. Maybe helps the 10’s that are hit have a bit more value than years past. Thanks for watching and good luck with your grades

That is a massive PSA reveal. Subscribed and smashed that thumbs up button.
Thanks! Been listening to CBS Eye on College Basketball pod where they ask to smash the like button :)
Thanks for sharing! Great stuff!
Thanks for watching!
What a monster submission! New sub, congrats on killing it with this video!
Thanks @docscards !
Thanks for sharing. Nice slabs.
@4:28 bummer to get back 9's on Elly De La Cruz.
Nice Gem rate. My last PSA reveal video was a big order too. Enjoyed your video. Subscribed also.
Thanks! I’ll check yours out. I had a 12 card just release with all 9’s and a couple 8’s so it’s not always as easy as it looks 👀
Enjoyed the video, What was the turnaround time, from the date you shipped to date received?
Thanks, it was about 1 month total but we also are close to PSA so cuts down on shipping to about 1 day each way.
Great stuff, always enjoy a reveal
Hello, when sending a Bowman 1st Baseball Auto to PSA, what top loader do you use for the thicker stock card.?

@@DaddoStacks-Stack26 so the semi - rigid is for thicker card stock?

For sure that’s going to be an issue. Really hard to see that naked eye versus grading magnified. Tread lightly for sure

How much it cost you to grade all it
It was the MLB Special at $14.99/card
HOLD UP....did this dude actually say that he's selling the cards that his kid rips?
