Yessss! Kepler episode! Dog Mom Sarah was great. Was also hyped for the Grayson nod. Was half hoping Drow janitor trapeze artist Ralph was secretly a time traveling alternate Dick Grayson. I mean drow Nightwing?! Heck yeah.

There are always crits on skill checks, as long as they are random goofy things. Unless it is jumping over a horse, sorry Mr. Horse for um missing that jump.
I had a GM who rules crits on skills add an additional 10.
Crits on skills are a common houserule, but not actually in the book.
I prefer using skill crits, though, unless it's more dramatic to do otherwise.

The build up to the finale was excellent
One time long ago I went the top of a parking garage at night to skate down the corkscrew ramp from 10 stories up. To get the curves right I had to take the brakes off. Right about turn 5 I had gotten maybe around 50 mph when a car appeared around the corner. Didn't die. But that was a close one.
I once did the same thing on a bike, into a quarry. Young maybe morons, but it was fun, and I understood consequences immediately.
Ha, I use to skateboard down parking garages as well. Fun. But scary.

When the dead acrobats were named Grayson, I thought this was going to take a very different turn.
Also, nat 20 isn't necessarily a critical success, but it still beats an 18.

No critical success on skill checks. But that's a moot point when the roll is greater than the skill check DC. A success is a success.
