Ah a classic. One of my favorite games. I put at least over 100 hours into it. Had alot of good memories playing that game. Come back to it occasionally but I have a weird bug that really kills the game for me. Usually every Orc you encounter has their own introduction sequence for themselves. Well for some reason every Orc I encounter doesn't do their introductions anymore and are always silent. Really kills the whole uniqueness of every Orc. This only started happening awhile after I beat the entire game. Other than that had a blast with this game from start to finish.
In my playthrough there was 1 orc that literally didn't want to die and came back over and over again. After I killed him finally he came back as a death and spotted me. I took that so personally that I ignored 20+ orcs and trolls around him just to get his ass.
Man you're giving me a nostalgiagasm by showing all the Lord of the rings games I never stop playing. They're all freaking bangers. It's a shame really that Shadow of Mordor and War have not got a next gen upgrade. I've been waiting for so long for that too happen so I can a much better reason to replay everything. I want to experience the Nemesis system again lol it's been years since I Platinumed those games. I hope we get an announcement for a 4k60 upgrade or remaster or something. It needs it. They'll be even more beautiful .
So nice to see someone do a game coverage on this again, this game is superb and deserves any attention it gets. (Especially now the microtransactions have been removed.)
I literally remember being in a fight with 3 dif "boss" guys i0n the same area and each one had a small cut screen of them talking between 3 seconds of trying to fight and just getting frustrated with the game. It was all in all fun though
Love Shadow of War, even just playing the demo 3 times over (when I was poor) was really fun and I had even more of a blast with the actual game. If you want another LOTR game, then I'd suggest the LOTR Minecraft Mod (1.7.10), it makes Minecraft into a completely different game where you can explore Middle Earth (even areas Tolkien worked on only a little) and join up with the different factions, it's really cool (especially when you do the Genstructures world which adds in the different major locations in Middle Earth like the Black Gate).
This game is one I still come back to. I have two uruk warlords that are essentially my " hand " and they both have the title " Arbiter ". I'll be about to die to some level 70 olog with every kind of resistance possible, enraged by everything and Determination, then my arbiter comes in and decapitates the olog and is like " Get up! " This game literally can form stories of tragedy, revenge, loss and triumph when you're invested in your personal army, get a few legendaries and then boom. You have this legion of superior men that butcher the enemy up until... uh-oh, here comes an enemy legendary that butchers your guys and now you're three men down, the enemy frees up several spaces for more of their allies to come in, they all end up being that legendary enemy's bodyguards and it becomes a brawl between your forces and them. You send three of them to kill this guy and his three bodyguards, you go there to help in the battle and you summon your bodyguard, making it four uruks fighting their four uruks and you pick off what ones you can while your uruks go headlong with their grunts. ( Bring a Commander and they can infinitely spawn grunts and buff your guys, too. ) - It really is one of the best Mordor games I've seen.
Despite not being a big Lord of the Rings fan myself, Shadow of War is still one of my most favorite games I've played, and I'm so glad it's still getting a bit of notoriety.
Like..... The videos keep getting better..... But.... Like..... Am I the only one that is always just in awe over the intros every....single ... Time!?!? Seriously. It's like they keep getting better and better every single time haha.

Oh before I forget! Kevduit you forgot to mention the Hobbit 2003 game! It’s a great action and puzzle mix of a video game! That was my childhood man. Sting looked beautiful in that game and the voice acting was surprisingly good. It was a hidden gem
'No don't hug me it'll give me a debuff.' That's a solid reference right there.
if I remember shadow of war had a loot crate system at launch then they took it out
13:34 that’s the coolest looking captain I’ve ever seen. Need one of them for my army
The game starting to be badass in the second part after betrayal of Celebrimbor, when Talion starts to wear issildur's ring and be BRUTAL
Nobody’s gonna talk about him having a tower captain directly at the start of the game
@12:04 "my weakness is fire"
Opens page doesnt notice it actually is fire that weakens him *🤣🤣🤣
In my playthrough there was 1 orc that literally didn't want to die and came back over and over again. After I killed him finally he came back as a death and spotted me. I took that so personally that I ignored 20+ orcs and trolls around him just to get his ass.
I just love the Orks personality in every fiction novel and game they're in. Just so damn comedic.
Really glad you started this series, started playing again recently and totally forgot about being able to ride the back of the oologs!
Fun fact, new wonder woman game is made by creators of Middle Earth Shadows of War and confirmed the nemesis system will be in it
"My weakness is fire." (proceeds to literally find flammable as the weakness of his target.)
This is the beginning of a awesome adventure
So nice to see someone do a game coverage on this again, this game is superb and deserves any attention it gets. (Especially now the microtransactions have been removed.)
i really need more of him playing this game his reaction to bruz makes me think his story will be great to see
Laughed at elden ring reference w shelob and also “Ah yes! Mid-air tutorial ‘How To Fall Down’”
@10:30 I love that the subtitle has ??? in it, even the game doesn't know what he said!
“No, not my Bionicle collection.” I swear this guy gets my childhood.
I put like 200 hours into this game when it came out. It's such a good time
I literally remember being in a fight with 3 dif "boss" guys i0n the same area and each one had a small cut screen of them talking between 3 seconds of trying to fight and just getting frustrated with the game. It was all in all fun though
I will always remember playing war in the north as a child it was the most fun me and my siblings had playing together
This game literally can form stories of tragedy, revenge, loss and triumph when you're invested in your personal army, get a few legendaries and then boom.
I have wanted you to play this for so long let’s goooo
Bloons tower defense is a wild reference back to the mini clip days 😂
Was "Glom the Inscrutable" from a DLC Tribe or something, I have NEVER heard a captain with that kinda voiceline before. I love it...
Despite not being a big Lord of the Rings fan myself, Shadow of War is still one of my most favorite games I've played, and I'm so glad it's still getting a bit of notoriety.
I remember Brûz, he was my favorite character in this hole game. Just the backstab at the end...
Like..... The videos keep getting better..... But.... Like..... Am I the only one that is always just in awe over the intros every....single ... Time!?!?
Seriously. It's like they keep getting better and better every single time haha.
*Sees the Gravewalker difficulty.*
"Oh you are gonna have fun."
At that time I was never been able to finish seeing the movies, I always fallen asleep before the middle.
Idril (the gondor lady) enters. Kev "who this?" as everyone who has played the game simultaneously roles their eyes through the back of their head.
“Mad Max and Batman have been training me for years.”
😂😂
That ork at the end is now my favorite
Just yesterday i looked up if you played shadow of war and now here it is one of my favourite youtubers playing one of my favourite games
