Treba slušati nekoliko puta iz početka i oči ti se polako otvaraju. Refren je neka vrsta mantre koju trebamo poslušati svaki dan da bi nam mentalno zdravlje postalo bolje. I think Portugal is not that successful in the contest because they do not have a lot of neighbors to vote for them unfortunately. ESC is about politics after all :/. So I think this song will qualify not JUST because of that, but it will help for sure.
I think the performance buried Telemoveis.... I too thought the costumes were weird and didn't like it at first.... But after ESC I added it to my playlist and I still listen to it. 🤷 Since the performance is great here, I hope it will have the Shum destiny. Of course, it could go either way.

At the begining of song the real inverted latin words are "Mens enfermos in corpore sano" - "A sick mind in a healthy body". Everything that follows in the song speaks about it - obsession with physical look (Megan Markle's hair), hypochondria (spots on the face coud be enlarged spleen problems...) Covid 19 sign on the screen, counting steps (OCD) with a dog out of quarantine (happy that she is allowed to walk out of quarantine, not to much far and long) and also satisfied that she doesnt need to think also about her heartbeats, thanks to nervous system, - God's creation - "God give us health both physical and mental (She is praying)", and constantly mentioning that " the artist must be healthy", while she washing her hands (The main WHO recommendation), clapping and make crazy hand signs. She then says that she does not have a booklet (In Serbia it is a name for a medical card), literally translated - she said that she does not have a card. RTS translated it in terms of health innsurance. And it could be a Covid pass card. She doesn't have a Covid pass, so they can't follow her, all "in the name of health". Then she says that the artist CAN be healthy, and then the Ukrainian flag colours appears and at that moment the Covid sign also dissapered. She then concluded: In a healthy body, the body IS healthy. And now what?

And now what we shall do?
A real post-Covid song. She is mocking the New World Order and globalism. Its a big critique of all we survived during the Covid madness (created from some bio-war-lab-factory) The song is talking about mental health after Covid 19 2-years long madness. Noone cared about mental health. She mentioned that everyone can understand the song in the way they want, it certainly doesn't just touch Covid time, but that's how I understood it. Mental health has been neglected for many years. Today is much more important in mass media what is the secret of Megan Markle's healthy hair.

Great reaction, this really is an amazing song, easily amongst the best of the year.
I love that the song has so many layers, and each time I listen or watch the song, or even think about it, I notice something new that I hadn't previously. The song/performance also covers so many different important issues, I genuinely think there is at least one thing that everyone can relate to.
I just hope that people don't write this off as a joke entry about a woman washing her hands and singing about Meghan Markle, as that would be a shame. But hopefully, the performance is eye-catching enough that it makes people look more into it and recognise the real depth that the song has.

The society is mostly obsessed with a healthy body, beautiful appearance of skin, hair ... this is what society wants to see, especially among artists. The soul is often forgotten, so no matter how healthy the body, souls and thoughts can be sick, sad, depressed and depraved. A healthy body is important, but a healthy mind is also important ...

You're a great man you even googled about Marina Abramovich. The meaning of life is to explore and always learn something new. Everyone is talking about hand washing on stage. At the end of the song there are several Latin quotes one of them is "a sick mind in a healthy body", if we remember what we did these two years we were constantly washing our hands even if we shake hands with someone we would immediately look for where to wash our hands. Did it affect our mind? For sure! This is just my opinion on hand washing. The song is by no means about the covid but about our state of mind and that is just one small layer in the song by my opinion. The very beginning of the song is a Latin quote spoken revers. There are a lot of layers in the song to research. Everyone can interpret the text in their own way and that is the real point of art.
Song has multiple layers of understanding. From criticizing health system to human obsession with body health while mental health is ruined. Last lines mostly summarize the whole point.

There are more than 2-3 different, important topics in the song and even more interpretations. It needs listening/ watching 4-5x to understand the metaphorical meaning (this isn't an usual la-la-laa song).
1. Megan: Rich people/ contrast in lifestyle, "beauty", their artificiallity and us, ordinary people on the other side.
2. Washing hands: in Slavic nations it emphasises how the "authorities/governments" "washing hands" or not taking responsibility for the wellbeing of the ordinary people (water washes everything/every dirt from their hand/authorities hands).
3. Last 2 years & Covid-19 measures, people were locked at home, directed to wash hands/face etc. in order to keep themselves healthy but at the same time them 5 people in dark clothes standing & watching?! These are the authorities.
4. "Let the heart beating..." we are actually left alone, nobody cares about ordinary people.
5. Find a video with English subtitles and read what is she singing in her last 3-4 sentences in Latin!!!! This is actually the finale..." ill/sick mind in the healthy body" = we became unwell/ill because of the restrictions during last few years...the ongoing lockdowns across the planet created so many mental health problems.
6. Now after hearing/ understanding last 3 sentences, go to the beginning and start again... here come the rich people (Megan)... they can be "beautiful" ...bla,bla... but in the end coping them, celebrities makes us all artificial and we lost our mind, ourselves, we gave/sold our souls because of copying various top models and celebrities and wanting to be/look like them. :)

You are spot on, bravo! Wikipedia covered some of it, but I find new layers every time I read/hear the lyrics. You are also spot on wrt bringing a piece of art to Eurovision :-)! She is definitely stimulating all kinds of debate (art, music, health care, pop culture, mental health, etc.) already, and will definitely provoke more, whether the song does well or flops in Turin. So, mission accomplished, this is what good art should do.
My favorite parts are 1. The appreciation of a regular walk with her dog, while not worrying about her heartbeat because it works on its own, and then praying that it continues, as soon as she thinks of that fact, 2. Being spooked by not having insurance but then listing some things that may not be negative about the situation, such as being invisible, someone "they" cannot track and "take care of", 3. The final part that I think is vaguely COVID-related, in the sense that we have survived the pandemic physically and are nominally fine, but damaged and afraid, and now what?

You covered it all. It is also sort of a reference to Marina Abramovič's performance...as in she mentions "the artist" and is doing an ordinary action obsessively. But that's a layer in the obssesion interpretation (which could also be because of lack of health insurance, media pressure to be beautiful and healthy, a reference to COVID and everybody being obsessed with hand-washing in the last 2 years or just to show on stage what obssesion looks like and paint the picture of mental illness - obssesive thoughts, obsessive behaviour... with ordinary things that are all around us. Something that we would barely even notice in real life or think as a sign of a person not being well. - worrying too much about appearances and health. We mostly consider that to be normal so it goes unnoticed.)

I love how hard you are researching for the meaning of the song and the reference to Marina Abramovič's performance (while also forgetting to turn the CC on 😂). It really is an iconic act....and a complex piece of art. It made us in Serbia in love with it after seeing it in semi-finals...and it unexpectedly won in the finals by a landslide (although there were 2 other acts that people were talking about before that and everyone thought one of those 2 would win). We are proud and excited to share this masterpiece with the rest of the Europe. I agree it is bound to be a Eurovision classic, no matter what it's ratings turn out to be in the end. And we all know it can go either way since it's kind of a wildcard and it depends on how viewers see it.
I wouldn't say it's making fun of Eurovision while also representing it, although that's an interesting view as well. I'd say it's just an alternative style of music with satirical lyrics... Something unusual for Eurovision stage, but it could still have it's place there, Eurovision is all about open-mindedness. The artist is actually a very sweet and down to earth person who's just making a commentary on our society...not judging it. At least, that's what I picked up from her interviews and some of her other songs. Her art is supposed to make us think... She doesn't provide answers. She just makes us look at ourselves from a different angle and wonder if we are ok with what we are seeing.
The choreography can only be understood if you're familiar with the Orthodox Christian church tradition. The guys that she is surrounded with, with the towels around their necks and with the vessel filled with water that he pours on her hands and later she dries her hands with the towel the second guy has, is the picture from the Holy Archiereus Liturgy, the Liturgy that is served by the bishop or the Patriarch, so the head of the Church. So, knowing this it is easier to understand that this is the criticism of the Church. She is referring to the hypocrisy of the Church members, I guess those the most respected ones. "I don't have health ensurance" was emerged like lot of people are most recognized. On the other side some people connect that with Covid and the whole situation even that wasnt my basic meaning. Probably there is satiation with all about Covid and presure to be healthy. For now I see that these two things is most stand out. There is so much more themes .Also there's no intention, its simple some process of thoughts on this topic and start with that chaos in media and that infosphere about health that point out on "Hair of Meghan Markle" which is mentioned like something that is really important and passing by atmosfere that "Artist" and all of us must be healthy, thats presure and like that is something most wanted and top value in life and a bunch of trends that is in that field and also that question, do I have a support of system ?
Do I have health ensurance ?And option that you can be healthy if you make a distance of all that pressure to spending endless examination and supplements etc. On the other hand there is frase on Latin with two sides. Mens sana in corpore sano (A sound mind in a sound body). The point artist is trying to make is that news media write and talk about health, supplements, diet, beauty, exercising... Meghan Markle was mentioned because in media there was an article about most important issue for the survival of life on our planet, her hair. According to media, woman has to be beautiful, artist has to be beautiful and healthy otherwise can not succeed. And artist asks: What about "Mens sana" part? Media do not care about state of mind, peoples spirit, mental health. To the contrary. Fake news, all sorts of lies (Serbians are especially sensitive because they were and still are victims of media warfare for over three decades) are there to make us total idiots, ignorant about what really is happening around us, spreading belief that nuclear war can be won or that Putin is going to back down if enough pressure he is under, unaware of how close we are of destroying our home, Earth. Read lyrics carefully several times, and pay attention to lyrics at the end:

To better understand, turn on subtitles/cc. It is actually pure artistic theater play in four acts packed in just 3 min. covered with a fantastically arranged musical matrix around a hypnotic rhythm, which perfectly follows the story told with a vocal that vibrates as part of the music (take attention for all details). Enough to be a masterpiece, even in the selection of the famous theater festival in Edinburgh. And the story is as follows Intro - EVERYTHING IS UPSIDE DOWN A modified Latin saying: a sick mind in a healthy body was read backwards.
Act one - ROUTINE We waste our time following celebrities and other people's lives, and discuss about them, about nonsense through the social networks (what is the secret of healthy hair Megan Markl). It's going even deeper. This became normal behaviours and it is compared with health, healthy behaviour. So, expectation is that artress also must be part of this "normal behaviours" (MUST be healthy).
Act two - LONELINESS We are now part of this routines, some system control our fundamental functions (heart ticking and breathing), we are alive, in virtual world and it's OK. But we are alone. No children, no friends, only dog. We are walking satisfied but without sense, with empty mind (counting steps, and that's all).
Act three - COGNITION Knjižica in Serbian is not only social security, but it's also symbol of belonging to some system or organisation as a member What if I am not a member? If I'm out of system? We will lost our followers, others will not monitor us anymore (what was normal, healthy), nobody will "care" about us, or organize our life (what was normal, healthy), and artress become invisible when she is out of system.
Act four - WAKING UP The absence of system influence artress see like a magic, becouse it means independence, so she CAN be healthy, with open mind, according to Latin saying "men sana in corpore sano" (healthy mind in healthy body). Can be, can be, can be.
conclusion - WHAT'S ABOUT MIND? Everything is about body condition (corpore sano, corpore sano, corpus is sano - and body is healthy), but no one talks about the state of mind. So, she mentions those states of mind and ask: And what shell we do?
And finally, the messages from the stage and the video. When health is mentioned, hand movements show that something is not normal. We need to be washed constantly, to be clean. Our mind same as our body. Either others will do it or we will do it ourselves. Again and again...
So, regardless of the placement, its appearance is a victory for Serbia and the Eurovision Song Contest
