- Ultra reliable and budget friendly, this might be the best bang for buck pistol of all time. S&W has made some great changes to their SD pistol, previously the SD9VE, the slide and serrations have been refreshed, the trigger is totally different, but it still retains that beautiful 2 tone look that we are absolutely in love with. We review everything on this gun, specs, sights, ergonomics, barrel, grips and feel, trigger, safety, magazines, capacity, slide lock / release, picatinny rail, and then go out to the range for some shooting, an accuracy test, and overall fun. This pistol fits into all of your SD9VE holsters iwb and owb. It's called a compact handgun but it's pretty close to a full size. I had SD9 VE and sold it to a friend. It was one of those guns I wish I kept but when I heard of the 2.0 I picked one up as soon as I saw it. Mine was $329 and it shoots great.

I believe that the grooved top is meant to break up glare.

I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago for$299 and it came with a Crimson Trace laser sight. It will never replace my M&P 2.0 but it is a great pistol. I've put 100 rounds through it without any issues.

I miss my sd9ve traded i off last year today just picked a sd9 2.0 with 1 16 round mag for 300 it compliments my M&p 9 well. My old school school m&p9 still has the hinged trigger and works well
Bought one last Thursday. I have Glocks and other carry guns, but I just wanted this as a dedicated home defense gun. I chose it for the price and because it has a rail. I have an extra headlight for it so it’s perfect for home defense. I’m also not fussy about trigger pull.

I love this video I ride a Hayabusa and carrying a weapon on a bike is hard if its not a pocket micro size. I had the fist sd9ve and I did a lot of work to it and then sold it for the Taurus G2 9mm. I did a torture test on this gun it eats ammo like the cookie monster. I don't care what kind of ammo it is trust me that gun will eat it with no problems.

I’ve been saying the same thing I just picked up the 2.0 and was hoping they would put it out in 40 that’s my go to caliber but I don’t see it happening anytime soon

The frame and shape didn't change so I think all of your holsters are going to fit the older one and the new 2.0

I recently purchased one like it alot for the price ,but found it locks up bad with ammo it doesn't like have you had that experience at all , also I've seen some vids where there were issues with trigger or not firing consistently 😳

I like your demonstration of the weapon. You just cut to the chase. Video yourself shooting is boring. I would Rather see John Wick movie more action. Let your viewers know how much the weapon cost a few times to keep your viewers informed. 👍
I made the mistake of buying this particular pistol. The polymer frame is made of very hard plastic that has a shiny appearance to it. The trigger is really bad. Overall the pistol feels really cheap. It's definitely a low priced 9mm pistol that will serve the purpose for someone who can't or does not want to spend several hundred dollars for something better.
It's not a bad gun, just maybe not to your liking. Plenty of guns out there though
I love my cheap SD9 2.0 the same as I love my Staccato P.
I own one and a few shielded and sigs it works and reliable for a 300 gun it serves it purposes
Everything you just mentioned are things you should have noticed when handling it. Not much of a mistake it's still tradeable right...

It always has been even the OG SD9VE 🪶👑 best budget 9 new/used under $330 nationwide literally a pawnshop veteran 🤣,always new/used old hinge triggered S&W’s are tanks the SD9/MP9/40/ (only MP/Glock for .40/.45/10mm) but never ♉️🚮 for budget reliable Hollow eaters,plus SD fit MP9 tlr 1/7 holsters and real MP9 ets mags 20s>30s for EDC,just leave em STOCK internally stipple the rest of the untextured grip,finger rest,trigger pad,and half trigger/underguard shoot it till it’s smooth they wear in perfectly that’s the problem now folks can’t shoot and shouldn’t even be allowed to touch glocks till they master a OEM OG SD9VE don’t call em trainer glocks for nothing 🎯🧐🤣
