Wow! I was at this show in 1964! Greatest rock n roll shows ever. Murray the K put the shows on every Christmas and Easter vacation. My friend and I talked our way into the bar attached to the theater from the inside and had a street entrance. My friend Richie played drums and I the guitar , not pros. We told the manager and the NYC PD who were guarding the street entrance from screaming girls, that we played back-up for some of the acts. We were under age at 17. We had a beer and waved to girls outside who were going nuts. We got to meet most of the acts when they took a break and came into the bar from the inside. Girls finally realized we were phonies when we left the bar and got into a 1953 beat up Olds driven by another friend friend . The girls almost killed us , throwing barricades at us and other objects. There's more. Later. I'm 78yo now in Texas and will never forget the most fun I ever had . We even signed autographs prior to the bar scene.
I was at every Christmas and Easter show that Murray The K gave us. R.I.P. Murray, you gave us great moments and memories.
What a dynamic show that was at the Brooklyn Fox Theater.
Dick and Dee Dee steal the show! Great guitar work on that as well as the entire show.

My then-boyfriend took me to this. When Dick & DeeDee came on stage wearing the identical dress I had home...it was pretty distinctive...I about plotzed.
This had to be one great show at the famous Brooklyn Fox Theater.
i was at this show (and most of his shows after 1962)...but we didn't get the album until the next year, december 1965. if you were one of the first 100 people on line, you got the album made from the performances of the previous year. still have all the albums and programs. all of that incredible talent...plus a movie... for about $3-4
And you could sit through the movie, and see the show again!

I remember Murray The K, I was thirteen years old when I first started attending the Murrary K show. I loved those albums you received and the talent that was diversified. Murray K lit the spark in me to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
I wasn't born in those days what love the concerts love the music and must been really cool I wish I'd been there
I would listen to 1010 WINS every night. It helped get through my homework. Great memories!
The Vibrations were a great stage,and vocal group they could it all.

Those were the days of being submarine race watcher in Astoria Queens under the Triboro Bridge
The Vibrations were a very good group .once you saw them you wouldn't forget them.
