@tungris Yes, I am a boomer and I did enjoy the game before dragon riding, but now is unplayable for me. I have medical conditions that impair my abilities. I guess this game is not for me anymore.
steadyflying is best for leveling. so the big problem with what they've done here is you need to get to 80 (assuming) and complete the entire campaign to get it. which sucks. so I guess the only thing we can do is focus on the campaign quests and exploring and HOPE that gets us to 80, so we can get steadyflying and then go back to the first zone and then start doing all the side quests. my concern is what if the campaign quests dont get you to 80.
you have to complete what campaign? pandaria remix? im so confused. they ruined the game. how on earth do I unlock the ability to disable skyriding. I AM SO CONFUSED

Yes, it's simple, it's not hard... but the point here is WHY the delay? Why can we Dragonride from the very beginning but not Steady fly? Give me an ACTUAL reason? It's not like they can use the excuse anymore of "we don't want you not experiencing the zone by flying" which was always their big excuse before, but now that's blown out of the water because you can dragonride from the start... so that excuse can't be used anymore. What VALID reason do they have to withhold steady flying? Name one. Gameplay-wise, there is almost no difference between the two flight forms other than speed vs control... but how it effects game-play, there's really very little difference. So once again, WHY is Blizzard splitting hairs here... either give us flying without restriction or don't... PICK ONE. Either BOTH styles should be available IMMEDIATELY or BOTH styles should be locked behind pathfinder... but saying one is okay to use immediately and the other (arguably worse) style must be locked behind an achievement seems really mind-boggling stupid. Blizzard has no valid excuse to lock one and not the other, they can't use their old standby of gaming immersion/experience anymore.

This makes the game unplayable for me. All i need is the option to turn off dragonflight, I can not use this flight style.

It is so quick to level in TWW if you don't ding via main story questline a few dungeons will push you over
Just play the game as intended and explore. You'll get what you need, simple.

steady flying makes farming and quest more easier. so having to earn it slows farming. i cant herb fast enough @wolfshanze5980
