Be careful using shampoos with sealants in them in the foam cannon. I wrecked 2 foam cannons to learn this lesson. The sealant will fill the metal filter that creates the foam and hardens in it. Once it does, it will block the filter completelly and the foam cannon will no longer be able to spray. It can be fixed by doing a complete disasembly of the foam cannon and boiling the filter to remove the sealant.

Look online and you'll find new mesh filters, just measure it's width and thickness. I've been down that road and actually boiled them to clear the muck. It took a couple of boilings to bring them back, sort of did the job which is when I found out about replacement filters.
I purchased a new one before I learned about it. Might go through the trouble of doing it at some point. @@Iceberg1313
Used a bit of white vinegar cleaned the mesh nicely
You should be disassembling the cannon and cleaning the mesh pellet regularly anyway as the soap left over if not PROPERLY rinsed out as soon as you have finished foaming WILL start to block it up.

Thank you for the video Dave. Looks like it's some good stuff. Reminds me of good old Turtle wax 🐢 Hot Wax. Back in the 90s I used the Hot Wax with a big sponge and it used to turn it black. It very effective at giving it a waxed finish though.
Very similar to Gtechniq ceramic wash.
Been using it for a while, leaves a great finish equalivant i would say to post wash wipe down with a QD.
In my experience, using the gtechniq gives about 3 - 4 weeks of decent protection.

mate, wasn't expecting that....4mins 30 in and the cat turns up on top of the roof - cameo role LOLOLOL...think it liked the smell of the SiO2 product or just wanted to be famous for a few secs. Quality
No matter the shampoo I use, I always spray it on after the snowfoam to give the paint that extra lubricant.
I have noticed it lowers contact markers dramatically.
I use the Turtle Wax Ceramic shampoo (£10.99 Amazon). It's for maintenance washes to top up the Turtle wax Ceramic spray. Like that shampoo zeros suds, but blimey does it add extra oommp. Turtle wax state not to rinse off with a pressure washer but to hose of gently. Good video BTW.👍

I use TW hybrid solutions black wax for my car and top up with hybrid shampoo, works brilliant
As an infinity wax user from day 1 all of 3 years ago I have always loved every product that Mike and the team create . This product however got me a bit speculative when I used it the first couple of times as I had some streaky almost greasy panels once I had applied some to wash mitt as directed . However after applying it the way you did in this video and going round the car with the wash mit it seems to have worked well but it’s certainly still trial and error for me and I won’t use it on customers cars
Its definitely one of those products that has it's place so for example of the car has to be protected in the rain then it works well. For me I actually enjoyed ceramic foams too so it's more like a bonus product for those challenging times
After the cut at 4:43 it looks for a second like you are washing the car with the cat 😄
I find hamsters are a better option. Fit in your hand nicer. Just remember to trim the nails😂
I've been mixing Auto Smart Duet with Aqua Seal pro for a couple of years now for basically the same effect. as im cleaning 10 odd a week at work it speeds the process up a lot!

I used this the other week and my beading seem to be a lot stronger than what yours shows. Unless I just used a lot more product 😅 enjoyed using it though had zero issues.
I prefer a lance applied sealant but it's a great way of topping up protection.

I normally avoid 'infused' shampoos like the plague but, there again I also hate washing cars in winter so this looks cracking for a quick winter wash.
I think Infinity are one of the best on the market... i always use the known professional brands, but i think their Spray wax and standard shampoo are crazy good, and the prices are pretty good also. Good bottles as well.

Kamikaze No.5 anti aging cleanser (I know it sounds like a beauty product lol) apparently removes all coatings including durable ceramic.
Edit: I commented before I saw the context of the video, I thought you were using a product that stripped ceramic

Armor All have a ceramic wash and TW have a their hybrid ceramic wash as well, I wonder how this compares.
If you add Autoglanz foam booster to a ceramic shampoo, you get the suds💪

Great results, can i ask a question? . I had my car ceramic coated(supposedly) about 8 months ago and i was never happy with the beading, every time i wash the car with a PH neutral shampoo the suds just die instantly even if i use a power washer to foam up the suds in the bucket as soon as i apply the wash mitt onto the car and back into the bucket the suds die ! Any idea's why ?
I would suggest being careful with waxy shampoo’s and snow foam that some can dry out the rubber seals around windows and doors

Dont know if ye have herd of tenzi but there here in ireland and there quartz ceramic shampoo is arguably the best I've seen and better than the product you have shown.. I cant flaw it and it lasts

When I get my TTs window regulators fixed I'll be able to use a foam cannon again. Right now it leaks😢

You can use ADBL Polymer fruit way. Its a ceramic snow foam and works much more effective then this shampoo

bilt hamber products are some of the best on the market, auto wash is an excellent shampoo, infinite wax products are right up there as well

I can't see that being any quicker than using a spray n rinse like gyeon wet cost, which gives far better results.
Its not supposed to be quicker, it's just an alternative method that some people may benefit from in the circumstances mentioned at the beginning of the video 🙏
A spray on rinse would be applied after a wash. This washes and protects in one step. Probably not as good as spray on but not everyone needs the best.

SiO2 is a body shops nightmare.
I’d rather use autobrite direct ceramic infused shampoo.
Considering they don't actually make their own products I would sooner use products from companies that manufacture their own chemicals like infinity wax that have unlimited testing before release 👌
