- In today’s acrylic forest painting lesson we paint a landscape depicting a warm pathway full of realistic trees. This relaxing painting tutorial is completed for the most part in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to paint trees, rocks, clouds, mountains, hills, leaves, foliage, shadows, depth and of course how to make it all look realistic. Acrylic Paints:
Ultramarine Blue, Naples Yellow, Burnt Sienna, Mars Black, Titanium White, Green Gold
Brushes:
1” flat headed brush
1/3” round pointed brush (medium to soft)
A small round pointed brush or liner brush
Other Materials: 8X10 inch canvas, A small dish for water, Paper towel for excess paint

What do u use to sketch the on canvas before painting?
How do you trace on the canvas? Do you use graphite tracing paper?
What about the sketch of the three behind the clouds?
I have tried this painting three times. I cannot seem to get the colors right and it's so frustrating!!! What can I use instead of gold green?
I'm also a big fan of sap green if I don't have green gold. It won't be as warm but it's a beautiful green
I’ve bought the same colours from 7 different manufacturers and not one is the same colour as the others with the same colour name. There lies the problem. In my opinion.

@louiswolfe5012 I don't know where you live, but if you can find a large Dollar Tree store, they have an abundance of art supplies. Very inexpensive.
I Don't mean to berate you. I've just never seen someone ask an artist for financial help.
