Haha! The percentage is map completion. Like how much of the map you've completed, and since the koroks are on the map, I guess they have to count

@@hydra2105it’s 1000 in totk but there’s 50 pairs that only count towards one map location so it’s the same as finding 900 koroks
@@mattkelly2449 I got 100% I collected every korok seed so I know there are 50 pairs which give 2 seeds for a total of 1000
Im closing in on 80% and im just casually playing. I do minimum fast travel and try to travel more or less in a straight line to my destination. I also always wear my Korok mask.

Idk about totk but in botw you beat the game so I assume you would need to fight Gannon and beat the game first idk just guessing

Basically you go up by 0.04% everytime your map gets updated with something you just found

Also, I currently have 99,91% of the map, which would not be possible with only 0,04% items!

I refuse to believe that skyview towers only count as 0.7% when they literally make the map show up on your purah pad
Which is why everyone will get them.
Each item counts as 0.04% regardless of function/importance
Haha I think each name, and icon count for mostly the same percentage of the map
If you launch from them, you get a lot of named locations that you can't get otherwise.
Getting all light roots: yeah here’s a useless icon for your trouble.

That means that since all checks are given equal amounts of %(I'm pretty sure)that there are alot more checks which makes me sad

From what I understand completing the story will default back to the last save but gives a completion meter to your benefit so finish it when your ready to

@@100PercentZeldadid that bc it converts shorts to a video format, which allows me to click on the places that I missed or want to watch again without having to rewatch the entire short.
The cave entrances really worth more than the shrines...
Saw someone point out you just go up 0.04% basically each time you find something on your map which makes more sense that way

Legend of zelda koroks of the kingdom
After getting all missions and shrines and light roots I find out it’s only 66% complete wtf. On the bubbul hunt now.
Yeah.. koroks and locations. The percentage on the map is how much of the map you've competed
If there are 152 shrines, how tf are there only 120 lightroots??
That’s because 120 original Map shrines (middle one) from Botw is connected lightroots, the other 32 shrines are in the islands above

Ok so I spent WEEKS getting all lightroots and shrines (and I'm still not done yet) and it's only about 6%

This completion is map completion. Basically everything that appears as a name or icon on the map

Yes, Totk has 1000 korok seeds, but it isnt really a big deal since theres the ones that give 2 seeds at once
Yes. because in BOTW, there were 900, but this time round, 100 of those tiny Korok quests are for finding their friends, and each pair will give 2 korok seeds, so that amounts to 100 seeds.
Essentially it's still 900 quests, but they will yield 1000 seeds. :)

@@100PercentZelda In breath of the wild, you only had to discover shrines for it to give you completion, but you had to beat divine beasts still.

A memorial tablets telling Zelda's story from when she was in the past, launched into the sky on star-shaped, little sky islands. There's a guy in kakariko who asks you to make photos of each tablet and bring them to him to translate.
By the way, one of those islands that fall from sky when you stand there, falls very close to a monster camp which has a lynel bow in a chest
The star islands. I don't remember when the quest starts, but you'll need to take pictures of them and show them to some guy who's first at lol or landing, then kakariko

The 100% counter on the map is basically completing the whole map. So the gems won't count
I think a cave is not considered complete (showing a tick on the cave icon on the map) until you collect the bubbulgem, so technically that’s part of the cave percentage

I don't care, i fuckin despise this game, for me the series has died, i'm tired of seeing this game everywhere. Hopefully for the end of the year people will start to open their eyes, and finally stop talking about this crap, and seeing how this game is freaking mediocre

I'm tired, i played the game to death and my god it's mediocre (i'm a huge Zelda fan and was hyped cloud nine for totk). I want this series to return to his roots and continue the way It was always meant to be, but now i'm not interested in it's future anymore, it's dead to me, souless, eiji Aonuma spitted on us long time fans giving the casuals that buyed botw more of It.
I'm sad about this, but i'm also angry to Nintendo for making this series blend into the crowd of open world games rather than trying to continue the traditional formula. I'm done with Zelda
