Great review! I like your no-nonsense approach. I have a 2013 FRS with the TRD kit and love it! No issues in year three of the car (my first year) and I've even started making Vlog's to share the love and get the story straight on this car. It has been compared to everything from super cars like the F12 to the Cayman, and the usual s2000, Miata, Elise hairdresser crowd because it does defy logic for a 200bhp 2+2 sports car. It may not look fantastic on paper but behind the wheel everyone stops talking numbers. Cheers!

+PACMAN1134 I have a 2015 did not come with an arm rest it's a option but a cool one .It slides so you can still use the cup holders. Check e-bay some dealers sell them cheaper.
*DARKVOID* fr bro like I know how to drive manual like a pro but just cause the commute from work and school is horrible I prefer the automatic. I don’t have to buy a manual to prove these asshole I could drive stick. Major reason why I got it to was so my girl could suck my dick no matter the traffic 😂
Automatic is heavier, more expensive to buy, more expensive to maintain, and provides less control to the driver. Unless of course, you get a high performance dual clutch automatic. Also, generally speaking, manual is FAR more fun to drive. You actually feel like you're driving the car as opposed to just driving in it. If you haven't driven manual before, you should give it a try...you'll likely never go back.
@@j0hnny483 also depends where you live. I stay in los Angeles, I'm not happy during traffic hours which is daily but on weekends Ill drive from orange county to downtown in and out of minimal traff. Canyons are great doing 65 but fuuuck
Lol I own a 2016 and the VSC sport button does almost nothing. I almost don't even notice the difference, the nannies take over the second you slide the rear out even a little. Huge exaggeration saying it's for track only haha. I drive with everything off plenty and I'm not a "pro racer."
This is accurate. I have one too and I turn everything off every time I start the car for the same reason - there seems to be no point in using the VSC button. The truth of this car is that unlike a muscle car, even with all of the nannies turned off, you will never lose control of this car by accident (on dry roads), due to it's modest power. The only way to break traction is with a VERY deliberate move. Watch any video of someone drifting an FR-S and you'll see this. Even then when you do break traction, it's so predictable and easy to control slides due to the great chassis and low center of gravity.
Man I used to own the exact car same color and everything! I loved that car! I miss it a lot! Now I wish I own that car again!

How much mileage did you get with the scion?
