This is one of the best demos I have seen. Not even a huge F-16 fan, but this guy flies like it a boss.. I like how it really lays into the rudder doing rolls for major corkscrew effect(or whatever... ;) ) Awesome flying!
Fully agree... and I have seen many.. That demo was absolutely 🔝🌰 nuts. Dude went on afterburner almost all the time. Even looks like thrust vectoring at some point 😱
I talked to the Pilot "vrieske" @ the airshow in Belgium last year, very nice guy, glad I took a picture & could see him perform his last show... what a guy
That's cool. He really is a nice guy. Fellow spotter met him in the super market during RIAT. He asked him to do a top side knife edge past the grandstand on the departure day. Guess what he pulled 🤩 Exactly this maneuver🫡🥳 (got a short video online)
This airplane has more than 40 years, and It still Is Amazing in its agility, manouvrability and Power. You can immagin how Revolutionary it was when It start its service?!
You’ve clearly never seen the USAF viper demo team, certainly not the F-22 or F-35. The Vioer demo min-radius turn makes me want to black out just watching it.
For safety reason both for the pilot and the crowd that is why we do not see US military pilots fly like this. This pilot was flying way to many dangerous maneuvers that were too close to the ground.
Pilot uses alot of high alpha manuvers I've not seen in US demos. Maybe to keep speed down for spectators and really show the crazy manuverability this aircraft was aways capable of. Most F-16 pilots I talked with who flew in Iraq were just HOPING to get into an air to air w/enemy. It is every bit as good as F-15 in ACM. Even today, an opposing enemy pilot would not want F-16's hunting them. Amazing little jet!
Not an aircraft mechanic but it seems to be related to reduction of thrust. I have heard it many times with the F-16, especially during landing (short final). Might be some sort of valve opening or air flow at the intake duct that creates the sound.
@@The.ChangeInTime More like a "Tweeeeeeeek" sound than a whistle.... Gear down, throttle - idle = nozzle full open... Anytime you hear a pratt go to idle (with the gear down), the nozzle schedules from normal to full open
Related with nozzle movement. Normally, the nozzle is moving by hydraulic actuator, in F-100-PW-22x engine nozzle is "accelerated" by part of engine exhaust gas, so you can here zipping sound. No zipp sound means hydraulic actuator, in case F-16 will be a GE motor.

Glad I could bring that to your screen 🙂
Agreed - and adding flares to the corkscrew made it even better 😎
@@kittyhawk2819 That's🔥🔥🔥
The pilot has 5000 hours on f16 , that's why 😉
yeah, I am als not the biggest F16 fan but this man is just different, saw him in Belgium and I was just amazed how he could do moves like that!
Love watching Belgian pilots, they fly really aggressive and wild (in a good way)
Very proud of our ‘ Vrieske ‘
Yeah - I believe so. He performed an amazing display with the F-16 😎
What a great looking F-16 and display!
Thanks for bringing this to my screen!
You're more than welcome. Glad you like it.
The paint job on this Vipder is indedd spectacular
😍

When I first saw it in an airshow when my country got it, it was obvious that was something extra ordinary, from the Draken we had at time.
This is probably the best F-16 pilot I’ve ever seen
That's a sick paint job
Amazing!
European pilots fly such an aggressive demo compared to USA.
This one here in particular was absolutely nuts.

Absolutely marvellous maneuvers 👍😎
Finally a demo pilot who really can fly an F-16! He has amazing skills. Also love how he uses flares. Love the paint job on the jet too!
Direct turn to right after few second of takeoff fuck what a power
Perfect machine, perfect pilota! Astonishing!
Beautiful
miss him... :( Definetly one of the best F16 pilots ever!
Rocket 🔥
Awesome 👍🏻 just mind blowing awesome skills 👍🏻👍🏻
V sobotu som bol na predstavení v Zeltweg . Toto lietadlo malo skoro kolíziu s vtákom . ❤❤❤❤Pozdravujem zo Slovenska ( Slovakia )
Nice. Is this from the rehearsal from thursday?
This display was on saturday 03.09.2022
He flies the Viper like a Hornet/Rhino.. 😱
Now that's a decent comparison 😄
40 ans, mais la Belgique a toujours mis a jours les évolutions et modernisations du F16,
Far out what a pilot 😮

Funner to fly probably but I'd take the F-15.
Great display, was one of the stars at RIAT, along with the Finnish F18 and the best overall bybthe french airforce Rafalle
What is that whistle sound at 0:45?

*Is "Falcon" or "Viper"?🤔*
If you've worked or flown them its VIPER if not then Falcon

👍❤
Some copper injection into the afterburner would go great with the green viper theme.

Im sorry but the host F16 pilots the good ole americans cant get near this guy he must know this plane inside out
Agreed. I saw many F16 display, also by ole host pilots. Huge difference.. Vrieske outflies them all. By far..
As well as against Minkowski's Mathematics, or rather its measurements
There is another video version of this one which is far better.
Apparently no trophy winner.
Sorry. Wrong airshow.
