- Sorry for the landing, first night landing, and first crosswind landing, in jet I've only been flying for a few weeks not my best work but it didn't go boom so I'm calling it a win
so I have trouble getting to sleep, mostly because of some hefty tinnitus that I've managed to give myself over many years of loudness. and some pretty epic insomnia due to an unquiett mind, sleep is hard to come by for me so I made this to help
I normally listen to documentaries, "oldies music in the other room" or ambient noise, I'm sure you've seen them, 4 hour B17 flight or whatever, the other night I came up with this idea, why not make one of these ambient sound videos in the viper.
so here it is. it works for me, hope it works for you
spoiler alert, aside from my rubbish landing nothing happens in this, I take off, fly on autopilot for 2 hours and then land very poorly. if you're looking for something interesting this is not it.
there is a stunning sunset and starry night though, so um enjoy, I guess.

I watched it back again today cutting a new video, I was head in my hands wondering why I didn't go around, sadly it took a few more bad landings for me to realize it's OK to go around lol

I flew with Ryan air a few weeks ago, got the full experience, delayed take off due to engine issues, hard landings the lot, was very happy, got exactly the experience

I had this in VR but in a night "mission", so every time my radar saw something new i got awake instandly.

sometimes it takes me 1-2 hours to go to sleep without any sleep meds and i was waiting for a radar lock warning or a missile launch warning
Hopefully these videos help you get to sleep a little quicker, that's why I made the first ones of these to help me with the same problem,
Don't worry about the rwr lock and missile warnings etc I'll never have the jet in a situation where all the alarms are going off, the point of them is to chill and relax, help people sleep, don't want be nodding off right as all hell breaks lose!
Also I have dosed off while filming these so my reactions to a missile would be bad haha

The absolute best fighter jet.
Did a lot of travelling with my parents when I was a kid - one of the most amazing things (to me anyway) was those flights that took off in the evening while it was still light and then being able to see the night slowly arrive across the horizon and over the clouds. Especially remember a trip from LA to Sidney with a stop in Honolulu. In a 747, the best plane ever made.
I have some memories like that too, just watching the sky go from blue to a vibrant yellowish orange and finally into inky blue then the darket black, then seeing the stars slowly poke through the darkness, just magic, that's why I do these at dusk, so you can experience the same sort of thing, just with more view from then Cockpit, that plus the jet sounds, just magic, what way to drift off to sleep

I’ve been using Boeing 777 oceanic flight vids as my “sleep induction” tool for about 4 years now … as I ALWAYS fall asleep when flying (but never in a car, bus or train). Thank you for posting this one… just looking at the feedback you got a winner here for sleep! 👍🏻👍🏻

If it would be possible, I would love love love a multi-plane ferry trip across the Atlantic in the back seat of an F-16D or an F-14 (or F-15E). That way I could see the lights of the other planes, wave at them from time to time (and the tanker aircraft when we refuel!) and get a thoroughly good snooze in the back seat! Would that be ok please?
I can't do am Atlantic crossing due to dcs map limitations, but I could do either a south Atlantic transit or maybe a carcasses to Sinai transit, just due to the current map selections in DCS, as for the jets, no 2 seat f16 in game however there is the f14 and the f15e both of which I have and the f4 will be there soon too, which I have pre ordered, only real problem is I can Currenty only aar (tank) with any real ability in the f14

Yes we can do it, it will probably be the f14 across the south Atlantic or the Caucasus, Syria and Sinai maps

@LennoxHouseProductions Yes! That would be wonderful! Thanks so much. A RIO ride in an F-14 as part of a multi-ship deployment across the Caucasus would be a dream flight. Even better to do it high over land as well with the occasional look down to see lakes or mountains passing by. Waving at the other RIOs or back seat F-15Es (I guess the AI F-15Es can tank ok?) and with the first half in late afternoon early evening it would be a delightful snooze. Thanks so much for replying, you have a total convert to your channel here!

This is awsome. Although you could add a radio chatter in the background and meybe do an air refueling. This thought of beeing 20k - 30k ft above dangerous ground level. In the warm safety of high altitude. Humming equipment and wind over canopy. Radio chatter in the background. Sunset or sunrise. Hit the tanker and back to area. Repeat 4/5 times and land. A cap over Syria. Beautifull.😮
So very keen to sort the chatter out, just need to fi d a place to get it from that's OK with me using it, of I can find some I'll do it, the dcs radio chatter just doesn't do it well enough at all haha

this was fantastic. Actually your landing didn't wake me up at all, there was barely any noise there. And its always nice when you're dreaming to have at least a part of it being you in an F16! Except, in my dream I had a bed in the F16 and someone else was piloting :)

Honestly the video is great, i was listening to this while reading a book when laying down cause i was downloading a big game and i almost fell asleep.
I usually just save the video in a playlist if i like it and it caters to my white noise listening needs and i'm very picky with this stuff but after reading the description out of curiosity i was touched enough to subcribe as i usually dont bother doing that. Also frick ear tinnitus it sucks ass! Got mine through a few ear infections at a young age.. such a bother. Anyways keep up the amazing work!

cant tell you how many times i have fallen asleep after spending an hour or more planning a flight in falcon bms / dcs and fallen asleep on ingress due to these sounds. i am usually woken abuptly by rwr alerting, explosion, or bitchin betty "pull up!" calls lol
