Did you see the Leica Q3 43 announcement? Is that a camera that you would consider doing a video on? I was surprised to see it with a completely different lens & it feels like a compelling new model
Very fair assessment imo. I have the non-X and it's just such a good camera, and genuinely pocketable so I can take it pretty much any and everywhere. I think the only places left for improvement are the autofocus, and weather sealing. Even with just the latter it'd be a huge step up for me, since I don't really shoot much that needs faster AF, although obviously I appreciate that many people do.
Improvements? Weather sealing. Yes. A tilt screen would be nice. A D pad or joy stick would be an upgrade. I’d love an EVF. Never going to happen. How about an EVF to put in the hot shoe? Fix the dust suction problem. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
I'm very happy with the original GR III. Snap to infinity works really well on hikes, on a bike, or through the window of a car or an airplane. Autofocus is ok in daylight, but otherwise bad, so that would be my priority for an updated version (if WR is to hard to accomplish). A bigger screen (the current one has a thick black frame around it) with better resolution and brightness would be nice, and more robust buttons. Same goes for a flash, but only as long as it doesn't make the body bigger.
12:06 I think all the Fuji X100 Series have always had an ND filter, not just the X100VI! (At least the X100T, F and V do) Great video, keep up the hard work! :)
I just managed to score a GR iii Diary Ed & I love it. I’m a big fan of 28mm & even 24mm focal lengths so it suits me. I will probably pick up a GR iii x at some point too
For los light it is awful. It is not the IQ but the AF, can not autofocus at all in low light (if there’s not a bright spot or highly contrast thing). I love it, but AF is bad in general, awful at night/low light indoors.

I stand corrected. Thanks
Yep, my first-gen X100 has one.
my X100S has 1 too.

I still have a Ricoh GR 😊

I totally agree, but with the snap zone focus it works great in low light situations
great video, thanks, but one is still missing panoramic (xpan) - aspect ratio (yes you can crop later) but ...
Fair. Thanks for watching
Which tape did you use to cover up mic/speaker holes with?
black electrical tape
@@Jay_Ducker Same here. Also a filter over the lens with an adapter to prevent dust infiltration.

So tempted to pick one up but it seems like the wrong time to do it as a GRiv must be just around the corner...
It could very well be
Why not both? 👀🫶
There is always the possibility of a GRIV. Think of all the images you aren’t taking while awaiting the new body.
