@@CryptoCasey1986 yep but the stupid thing is the UV bars r like 44 or 48" off the top of my head and my tents a 3x3 so it wont work.. I bought Ca lightworks T5 UVB instead to add on..

Mars Hydro has been researching for years whether adding a little UV and IR to the full spectrum is a truly practical design, and we finally have an answer:
Mounting several UV or IR beads on a panel will not work at all and can even easily damage the beads. Only by using enough UV and IR radiation at the right stages of plant growth can you really take advantage of these two specific wavelengths to pay dividends, we do this by eliminating the UV and IR from all Mars Hydro LED Grow Lights and instead providing Complementary lighting range (UR45 Light Bars) to provide rich, quantitative and practically effective UV and IR light to assist growers in obtaining the highest quality cultivation results, taking full advantage of the precise control of environmental variables in indoor cultivation.

My Mars Hydro LED light started flickering due to wires in the main wire harness connector burning. The connector was very hot to the touch. After sending a lot of pictures and info to Mar Hydro (Janice), they stopped communicating. I am afraid to use it because I don't want to burn my house down! Where there customer support and warranty?

No, but I am just hoping that Mars Hydro will see message and do the honorable thing to fix it. I am sure I can replace the defective connector, but I don't want to risk voiding any possible major warranty issues (if they even honor major problems). Another reason I wanted to post this problem is because I am sure that connector is not rated for the amount of electrical current that the lamp draws at full power. I am probably not the only one to have this problem but other people may not realize the connector is overheating
I'm sorry I just saw your message now that the burnout is caused by heat. Any overcurrent will generate heat. Be careful that the ambient temperature should not be too high~
