Season 2 of Poker Out Loud Vlogger will be available every Tuesday at 4 pm PT. Tune in to watch Ryan DePaulo, Bet on Drew, Poker Beast, Matt Vaughan, Convolk & Greg Goes All In battle it out and explain their thought process over the course of 8 episodes. First episode will air Tuesday Oct. 12th at 4 pm PT.
Matt and Beast are just running this show. Everyone else is just orbiting. ALways love listening to Matt's thinking. It's just so well grounded in sound & tested theory.
I don't understand why people rag on Matt Vaughn, he has the most in depth analysis of anyone other than probably Landon Tice, I love watching both of them and I learn the most of them. If the editors wanna make the fans happy and cut their speeches out, that would be fine for me if you could just send the clips to my gmail!
IKR! You can definitely tell Vaughn is super studied in these different flop textures and run outs. Props to him for being so concise in his thought process. This is what anyone who is a student of the game should be striving towards IMO.

I think it's really cool to get Ryan's perspective on the hands he's in seeing as usually a lot of the players on POL are coming from a more GTO perspective but Ryan has more of a exploitative and game flow approach.
tbf ryan does go into what theory says a decent amount, giving that he studies for MTTs...
@@andymoiser4611 True but he's not just giving explanations from a GTO perspective. He's thinking about this game from more of a exploitative point of view.
For Ryan this is far less about having a player with an exploitative approach (vs. GTO) but more of seeing and hearing how a tournament player approaches cash.

I learned so much: when I'm holding 72o on a dbl paired board which I have no piece of with a flush on it, and someone raises the river...re-raise. Got it.
Watching these legands, it's clear that the knowledge of ranges, positional advantages, pre and post flop betting structures etc. is plenty, however, they rarely estimate what the op is holding and are often way off. Either, the detail involved in playing NLH these days has become too complex (over-thinking), or after everyone becomes knowledgable in the same areas, the exploits are catching up. I am just not sure which. Anyway, there is a lot to learn watching these. Thanks so much. I love it.

The Matt vs Cato hand was interesting for multiple reasons it was like the master and young apprentice. Cato learnt a lot during the hand by having to slow down and talk it out aloud, what he said after Matt’s turn bet was showed that.
And the comment I’m referring to was him saying the checked flop narrows his range dramatically, he started to think what Matt was thinking he had and… proceeded to play directly into that. The bluff was a fairly well thought out play.
You know what was interesting about that hand was that as good as Matt's analysis was he forgot to mention that pre he did say that he could be calling with smaller pairs trying to set mine. Idk if that would have made his decision any tougher to fold though. . Lol

Greg, your read on Catos bet size was correct. Just pull that float and/or raise trigger. Personally, I’d float and smoke that river. If it doesn’t feel right…it isn’t snd when you have that range advantage and need to protect that….especially after folding the 33.

One Idea/Suggestion that would improve the viewing experience for me a lot: timestamp hands with descriptions of they players involved in the hand. Sometimes I just to see what one Player is doing. The drawback might be fewer people watching the complete video, so maybe it would be a bad change for the channel after all
