    Man Dude!
    Great video.
    I especially liked how you addressed the point of the Jeep specific driver cups to press in the ball joints.👍👍👍

    FYI after removing the top ball joint just flip ur press over run the press screw up through the hole of upper B.J. that keeps u from jacking vehicle up any further just changed mine out today. PS replace lower B.J first for same purpose just thought this may help.

    Thanks for this video, it was the first one I've seen that actually showed everything and used the appropriate tools, I was getting frustrated and didn't realize I was missing the little removal collar.

    I put the hardware and pads on the caliper bracket first, then mount the caliper bracket, so much easier to do. I also wire brush and clean the bracket, usually change the little boots, brake clean everything nice.

    The best video for changing your balls! I have the death wobble so hopefully this fixes it??

    I changed my track bar, drag link and tie rod, I am debating doing my balls, I’d love to get the deletes, but they are so $$, will prob go for Apex or Synergy HDs. I usually change the hardware too being in the heart of the rust belt, Long Island, we have both road salt and salt water air (Long Island Sound or Atlantic Ocean) rusting us out.

    I’d stuff a rag in that axle hole to prevent debris from getting in there.

    Are these the adjustable ball joints? If so, how do you adjust them and how do you know if you need to adjust them? Thanks.

      I don’t believe they are adjustable. But they are rebuildable once they ware out

    Thanks for this video! Interested in those adaptor cups you are using specific for these ball joints. Do you have the part number or link to where you got them? Thanks Again!!

    What were your symptoms of the bad ball joints?

    • @ghostlyrich
      @ghostlyrich  2 роки тому +1

      wobbling when hitting bumps or even going down hill can be very hard though as tie rod ends and drag link can also put off the same feeling. you basically need to people and one shakes snd moves steering wheel other watchs for play in the joints. even then if your doing a drag link id suggest the ball joints with some beefier stronger ones especially if your lifted.

      @@ghostlyrich how long will it take to replace the 2013 jku upper and lower ball joints?

      Depends on your mechanic experience if everything goes smooth. Id say give your self 3 hrs the first side and next side 1.5 and half to 2 just
