Looks like I am scheduled to replace my Hydraulic Return Line hose CAT 541-7167 , how long of a hose does one need? It looks like one has to drain all the hydraulic oil out of the tank. Is that correct? Is there an easy way to do this? What capacity container does one need?

Factory says about 5-1/8"(130mm) I'd try for closer to 6 inches. I can't remember for sure what I cut it to but I wish I'd went a touch longer than I did.
