debbie, i am certain you'll love the muted inks .. i've been using them as a thin underpainting for traditional gouache , and acryl gouache .. enjoy your new toys.. 😊Norakag
Hi Nora! Haha- I am afraid that I will enjoy them too much! I am quite determined to build a collection and I love using them so far. Thank you my lovely! Deb xx
@@debbievongrabler-crozier2646 if you use them as underpainting, they absorb better into the paper if watered down a bit .. then whatever you add in top will adhere well 👍👍👍enjoy norakag
@@debbievongrabler-crozier2646 of course! and there were some back up items in my order as well as some new things which we always need for sure 😉😊 I actually ordered a dome blender #6 from Princeton to see if I like better than the Deco Arts set I got off of Amazon (they aren't the Traditions range that I got) Love how these blender brushes work with gouache, so thank you!
Yes terrible how we artists are with direction I often do the same and can walk around inside an art shop for hours trying to find my way out lol...Meanwhile my husband will be waiting for coffee somewhere with me.
I know! There should be some sort of support! Mind you, i have often wondered how many art shop employees are simply customers who gave up and now work for pencils and sketchbooks :D :D :D D xx
I’m just getting back into painting now that my family is all grown. I was wondering why everyone is talking so much about light fast, don’t the UV sprays work?
I haven't had a lot of experience with the UV sprays. To be honest, I would be more likely to trust a product that was tested and lightfast itself rather than spraying a product over the top. The spray leaves itself open to a high margin of error regarding the amount to use and even where you live in the world. I grew up in Australia and that sun would laugh at most of these products which is why I never used them. Great to hear that you have some arting time! Deb xx
Haven't even started the video yet and already burst out laughing at the title. So relatable 🤣
haha- that made me happy to read! Deb xx
I like the way you swatch, more interesting then people who just use a random scrap paper
I love Liquitex inks. So much fun to use
The possibilities! D xx

Haha! I too accidentally ordered some art supplies yesterday! Do I really need them? Maybe 😂
Absolutely you need them! There is NO WAY we would buy things that we don't need. Just can't happen :D :D :D Deb xx
