    Hi everyone,
In this video I will be showing you how to do the kung fu/ martial art movement of Wu Long Pan Da. This is an important foundation movement used in martial arts training, it can be used as a warm up movement, it will help you stretch your upper body and arms and it can also be used in defence or attack. I hope you enjoy the video. If you would like to learn any other kung fu movements, please leave a comment below.
Thank you for watching and have fun training!
    Best wishes
    Master Yan Xin

In our park, a student of the Shaolin temple visiting as a foreign student used to meet weekly and invite anyone who wanted to join him to practice martial arts once per week for free. Wu long pan da was one of the techniques he taught us and I’ve practiced it for 15 years as a shoulder stretch and striking cue to loosen through the upper body for speed. I owe a debt of gratitude to Shaolin and the students!

    A little too late but,
Wu = black; Long = dragon; Pan = 1 meaning is plate or round table, the other is twist or curl around; Da = strike
Together it means "black dragon twisting strike"

Oh this is how it's called. I learned this from my kung fu master. Can you tell me the Chinese sign please? So cool I never knew this kind of use of it. I thoughts it's just like a warm up stretching.
