I don’t say this to sound mean I say this because I want a fellow brother to have a long riding career, please work on your fundamentals bro. Minor mistakes on a bike like that can cause major problems, ride safe my friend that drop means nothing though just keep practicing!
I’ve been riding for over 20 years. I agree with others here when they say learn your fundamentals more before driving that aggressively. We want you to ride a long time !
I’m the start of the video when you accidentally went into neutral instead of second you need to rev match when trying to shift it back into gear while still rolling
You can do what you want but I would say practice your gear changes and slow speeds turns but that drop isn’t anything to worry about it’s happens to the best of us (it happened to me twice and it snapped my brake lever)
Ahh that happens. That’s why they say small bikes are more forgiving than big bikes. It’s not only the power but the weight, have used the front brake with the handle bars turned plenty of times in my vit400, but because she is so light it is not that easy to drop it. If I would have started on a 600 or something bigger I would have dropped it 10 times already😅
@@tahkosue Yea got a gsxr 600 as my first bike a few years ago. After riding dirt bikes for a good portion of my teen years, and only having owned manual cars since 16 a 600 stopped feeling scary after the first day. I sat on (didn’t ride) a friends r1 a few months back, and actually said “what? This feels lighter than my bike!” Lmao. I’m ready for a liter bike now, but so glad I didn’t start on one. Mostly because I like to push things to their limit, and I know based off how touchy the throttle is that bad things very well could have happened. I’ve had my fair share of close calls on the 600. I haven’t watched any of your other videos if you even have any, but please if you don’t own a bike currently get a 400 max.. I don’t mean to be rude, but I saw a lot of things in this short video that show you have no business on even a 600. You’ll become a better rider faster if you spend a couple years in the saddle of a 400. Plus, if you watch enough UA-cam, I’m sure you’ve seen a few videos of people on 400’s giving guys on liter bikes, even h2’s the absolute sauce lmao. When it comes to bikes, theres no replacement for skill. If you already have a 600, just know that even they are no joke, and you can easily get yourself in trouble.. I’m not talking about with 5-0 either.. be safe, and have fun brother!
Oh boy.. just clicked your channel, and well.. I’m gonna be honest, and again I don’t mean this to come off as rude. I just see anyone on 2 as a brother/ sister.. Keep it under 6k rpm until until you can shift properly, and understand the brakes. And for the love of god, stay far, far away from the twisties for a year or two. I can already see the outcome.. gsxr 750’s aren’t much more than a 600, but like I said 600’s are no joke. Just a 1/16th of a turn of that throttle can mean the difference between exiting a turn, and going down. Always remember brake, turn, straight, accelerate. Bikes are not like cars, when you add throttle you better already be standing the bike up. Adding throttle while adding lean angle will bite you. Please be safe, and consider downsizing until you’re ready. Even with years of riding dirt, I still had my fair share of close calls. Plenty of times where I got to my destination, and realized how close to death I really was. But with that said.. I never had any issues with braking, or throttle control because of the years, like, many years of dirt experience.. you don’t have the muscle memory built up for a bike this powerful. At the very least, throw it in c mode for at least the first year. Please, do it for the people that love you
I appreciate the thought and care you give towards me ❤️ I still got a lot to learn still and properly shifting from the 1st to 2nd is my top priority haha. This has barely been one year of riding for me but I’ve been riding a 700cc cruiser for the majority of it. Not necessarily saying any of your concerns don’t mean shit to me. I will more than happy take anyone’s concerns, especially if they have more experience than me. So thank you 🙏 ✨✨
Yeah I get where you coming from. A little too late for that 🤣 I’ve done almost everything you can really think of doing on either a cruiser or a sport bike. Gladly nothing has happened so far but I am careful when it comes to it and I know when to stop myself from over accelerating in certain situations. Like the last reply I appreciate the love and concern you give me. ❤️
8:07 i just did the same thing tn on my harley when trying to bust a uturn going like 2mph lmao. My 3rd day riding a motorcycle ever but its such a blast.
One thing u need to work on is to not grab the brake so hard I realized u do that at pretty much every stop it’s the quickest way to slide out and honestly is the main reason u dropped the bike from the stop force you wasn’t able to catch your balance quick enough u can honestly just engine brake to help u slow down then slightly start grabbing the brake just a quick advice👍🏾 but I subbed to u
I appreciate the advice and the sub. Yeah I have some issues when it comes to me braking but I'm learning on how to engine brake better as I'm not use to it yet. Especially since this was my first time on the gsxr. Plus I was so use to the Yamaha R3 baking it had so I kinda treated it the same which I shouldn't of.
Not really, you can adjust them to kinda see what's behind you but at this point in time after riding on it for a couple of days now I don't even bother using them. Look awesome as hell tho imo
At the time they were bent inwards so it doesn't look right. I also been having problems with them where the mirrors would open up after hitting bumps and stuff. Got any info on that?
@@tahkosue I think maybe you have the part that bolts to the bike upside down. Mine got loose to the first time I rode with them lol. Just tried to tighten them as much as I could and didn’t have the problem again

Bro work on getting cleaner shifts. Stop rushing it. Slow and steady is always faster then trying to do it fast an fucking up. And try not to use ur clutch as much. Downshift… don’t just hold ur clutch the whole time while stopped etc. put in neutral

@@patrickmba7638 In terms of a sport bike yes. I've ridden my dads 700 cruiser but it doesn't compare. I wasn't prepared at all once I hopped on the gsxr, but for sure you will enjoy riding a higher cc bike. More so on the freeway/highway than the streets.
Sorry you dropped your bike 🏍 it's probably very scratched and junky looking now so you probably don't want it anymore. Well today is your lucky day because you can just send it to me. Then you can get a better new one with no scratches 🙂

At least it wasn't a hurtful drop man.😂 I've done that just getting my bike out of the garage a couple times. Been riding a long time.

I was waiting to see who would pick up the bike first 🤣😭
Great bike man, best sound

straighten bars first or let go of front break first?
