Coach Han is standing on the badminton court all day long. So he prefers high-ankle, fluffy shoes. But ordinary badminton shoes are better for amateur players.

자세를 하고 집중하다 보면 팔을 움직이는 것과 라켓의 이동경로에 대한 위치변화로 셔틀이 어떻게 갈지 알게 되는데 많이 쳐보면서 범주화와 단순화가 이루어져 익숙해지고 보는 눈이 단련이 된 것일까요?
맞습니다. 반사적으로 될때까지 연습하는 거죠. 단거리에선 셔틀콕을 보고 반응하려고 하면 늦습니다. 전위도 마찬가지고요.

isn't that when defence, left foot should be slightly in front to leave more space for backhand grip to hit the shuttle at forehand area?
That's a reasonable opinion. But I don't think the position of the foot matters. not much. A comfortable attitude comes first for each comes first.
Even to receive a high serve one should have that stand.
