They changed it due to outrage to be up for interpretation because people don't wish to think of her as a trans person but also don't want to forsake the people who have accepted her original design as the real one.
I'm surprised by how well these characters all turned out, lack of hype aside. I think Poison and Lucia have pretty fun movesets and interesting combo routes. E. Honda is E. Honda and thats honestly all he needed to be for most people.

Essentially the original design said that, but they retroactively made it "open to interpretation" so it's easier to accept for everyone. So I choose to go with the original design. I don't see how that's "closed minded"

I do agree with max here, while it would be cool to see Hugo in the game, his spot is kinda already taken up by Abigail... unless they were going to make Hugo somehow *bigger* than Abigail, imagine how dumb that would be.
Hugo better be added in SFV at some point since they mentioned him so often in Poison's story mode and even used a character silhouette.
I hope they dont make him that short from abigail it will be nice to put both of them in same size but if not then it'll be fine to have abigail just barely taller

I thought C.Viper was quiet an interesting character in SFIV, that she was a secret agent/ (assumed) single mother was although a little silly on paper worth exploring more into it.
Saying that it would've been good if rather than adding new fighters into SFV they brought back old favorites or even some of the less defined fighters and fleshed them out/bulked out their personalities
Crapcom aren't shit they know C Viper and Rose been heavily requested for so long now and they failed once again to include the two of them they are the most popular requests to be in this game I wouldn't be surprise if either the two make in the game.

Roxy has handcuffs and uses a baseball bat as a weapon just like how Poison use a whip as a weapon Roxy the last female from Final Fight that has yet to be playable in Street Fighter hopefully she's in season 5 but Roxy gameplay would be different from Poison of course.

Poison returns a failure at making her wrestling dream come true, and everyone has moved on. Abigail runs a business, Cody is mayor, and here she is back at square one. Kinda feel her bit with Lucia was about her not being able to change her fate, not being in control of it or other people who left her in the dust

This version of Poison looked thicker than the original version of Final Crash 'cause she's got thicker thighs and thick ass what we can see in the video. Maybe Chun Li's character design traits might have effected other female character design, particularly hot body aspects. Yes, that is the most male gamers' demands and desire. And developers already knew it.
