Max was the reason i got into KI. I watched the documentary & thought "seems like a really fun game", until i booted it up, i was hooked. Thank you so much max for introducing me to another fighting game series

KI season 1 was a bit of a trip. Sadira was the only free character I had access to, but it was still really fun. Finding out Shago was a thing, along with his Ultimate, was trippy too.

One of these days, I wouldn't mind seeing an KI/MK crossover game, but only if the studios involved did it justice.
Saving this video to my watch later, but wanted to chime in before I forget. Since my roommate and I both played Jago, we used the shadow training thingy to create an AI with the perfect hybrid of our two fighting styles. I then signed on when he wasn’t looking and trained the AI to Tbag. It can be done, it is amazing, and I wish every fighting game had this feature.
14:05 - The meter building during ultra was definitely there from the beginning, Must have been something different about the dev build you were playing but I still have access to season clips of me doing double ultras.

Used to play for hours every morning untill early in the afternoons.
I remember one time when a fight started the guy had a Mic on and said something like " I dont know if you know it or not, dood, but you're playing on a stream in front of X amount of spectators."

I think the changes that I really wish would come back is the combo breaker and counter breaker. The combo breaker ending with a hard knockdown was nice, and the camera shake on the counter breaker is gone! That shake makes it so much more aggressive and I miss it a lot!
Love to receive that build, to maybe play around with the free camera, making trailers must be a ton of fun here!

Man i miss this game and the first KI just the focus on combos and insane ultra was amazing. Seeing your character do over a 100 hit ultra was so satisfying. My go to in arcade along with MVC and MK 2 and 3 man.

I love the AI in this game an that they learn you an your habits making them hard to beat at high levels. I think this keeps the game good for a long time even when playing alone an the AI won't be super easy.

This is the video that got me to commit to fighting games...finally! Of all the ones I've tried (Tekken 7, Soulcalibur 6, SF4, SF5), it's Killer Instinct that instantly chimed with me. I knew right away that I was in the presence of something incredible. I've never seen a game of any genre that oozes such creativity and virtuosity. That being said, SF4 and 5...they are clearly very special games.

Max got me into trying KI. I am fascinated by the combo system when i tried to learn it. Unfortunately my PC is not strong enough to play KI. Can't get stable 60 FPS even on the lowest setting so i drop it. Planning to get back if i have a better PC in the future.

If I remember correctly Fulgore had to manually build his meter. When he does his ultra that would mean he can’t build meter during it unless that was a season 1 thing for everyone.
