Wow. Haven't seen someone try this style so far. Turned out so good. Would not have expected this.
My headcannon is Silv thinking “Man I love Tinyglade, but Planco 2’s coming out soon. I still need to finish up Aerobats of Ara-waaaaait a second.”
I just wish this had a copy-paste tool, it would help so much
Hopefully it'll be a thing on release tomorrow?
Every game in which you can build that is handed to silv is becoming an architecture-lecture! :D
Two uploads in a day? Why didn't anyone tell me Christmas would come early?
@@senseweaver01 not Christmas but Mawlid 😙
As a Turk proud of you my beautiful brave Jannisarry bro :)) ❤❤ and btw The graphics and art design of the game are great, I definitely recommend it to those who want to feel comfy
Silv, you're already annoyingly good at this game. 🤣🙌
The scaling featuring in this game has me so excited about the scaling in planet coaster.
I really hope planet coaster has wall pieces that are scalable and draggable in single directions.
It works perfectly between Orthodox Churches and Ottoman mosques because all of them copied Hagia Sophia style to claim Inheritence of Rome then this effected most of Sunni Islam Styles. Remove the minarets and add some golden crosses and greek iconas and most ottoman mosques can work as churches.
I have visited this monument in Istambul 15 years ago in my honey moon and i will say that this is a very good work man!! Congratulations
Do you think at some point the developer of the game said to each other "Our game can do that?!"
bro, good luck at work, this was hella worth it
@@gratchy are you cereal
hello I liked this video! really good! could you do a ukrainian church thank you!🪷
>today we're gonna build an ottoman mosque
>watch video
>byzantine cathedral
Love the video but you're 100% gonna get flamed by internet romaboos
Seethe and cope I'd say, it's closer to the Blue Mosque than the Hagia Sofia 😌 (whose minarets were added by the Ottomans anyway)
Well let them cry😂
>lost the cathedral 16 hundred years ago
>still moan about it without having the actual capacity to take it back to this day
I'm so glad I'm not a sore loser kek
@@hadesium I'm pretty sure the reason we don't "take it back" as you say has more to do with politics than ability. Just my thought.. 🤷♂️☦️
@@SpenceDaddy007 yeah right sure
I never would've thought of using the domes like that to create a gorgeously detailed palatial mosque.
But you've done such a stunning job and it looks incredible. Also very reverential of actual mosques and their stunning architecture. I'm sure anyone would be delighted to worship there.
Now that I think about it though, you really could create thinks like the Taj Mahal. And I bet even traditional Asian architecture, like pagodas with a little effort and tinkering
Man this is not an ottoman mosque. This is like Hagia Sophia, namely a christian church of the Roman Empire converted to a mosque and its copies that were created after Ottoman occupation. Nice work by the way.
@@giannisvlahos1354 it's based off of the Blue Mosque, much more than Hagia Sofia :)
Hello, Turk here. It looks incredible, thank you so much! :D
People are moving on from 'witch cottage to 'real life places'.
It's not 'made for' anything. It's a game for imagination and exploration. If you can make an Ottoman Mosque, so much the better!
Knowing I had a moment while playing a TTRPG where I was looking frantically a model of a fort... Now I see this game with so much potential for TTRPG maps
I want to see Fort Kait Bey brought to life by this tool... hope this tool has ramps
You funnily came across something that a scholar has written about when you said gothic architecture is similar to islamic, see the book "Stealing from the Saracens: How Islamic Architecture Shaped Europe by Diana Darke".
If you check some of the Spanish architecture from places a bit more to the north than Andalusia (but not too far north), you can actually find lots of buildings that combine this style of architecture with Gothic elements.
It would be cool to see the game with different texture packs for other kinds of civilization in mind. That way it could help with the “tedium”
I didn't know the game could create domes. I thought it was limited to western European buildings. Very cool!
European building has domes too.
As a Turkish Guy I AM SHOCKED well done 😍
XD I hope some one tries to make Dalaran XD might be my project I like the song Istanbul or Constantinople
This is awesome, love the idea. I wonder if the Ishtar temple can be recreated as well.
It would be really cool if they added a desert themed map for this kind of thing
Wow! I am truly blown away. Awesome, just awesome.🙂🙂🙂🙂
This is great and beautiful! But a new episode of Aerobats of Arabia would also be great and beautiful!
as a Turkish person I'm flattered, this looks awesome ♥
This games glade area needs to be bigger!!!
can you build the Jedi temple here?
What a guy!!! Nice build.
These are more like Cathedral sized, honestly. While the hierarchy is different than Catholicism, there's still the individual mosque (church) and regional religious governance (which looks after the affairs of the local mosques, Cathedral) mosques.
Great work, well worth the effort.
Hey silvarret have you tried dragan quest builders? I find it the best creative game i ever played.
Dude.
Here's a challenge: make Borobudur in the game.
AMAZINGGG
when are we gonna get a My Singing Monsters vid? anyway good video love yoy 🤎
Great to see you came across this fun game!!!
This was really creative! Keep it up ❤
Beautiful! Magical! Amazing!
damn this looks so good
It's Byzantine or Roman not ottoman
Ottoman architecture is of course very much influenced by Byzantine architecture, but also distinct.
@@Silvarret perhaps, but this build seems to be based off the haiga Sofia in Istanbul and that was built as a greek orthodox Byzantine cathedral. The only thing ottoman about this architecture about it was when 4 minerettes were added centuries later.
@@Padraigofloinn It looks a lot more like the Blue Mosque than Hagia Sofia, so it's more so the Ottoman style than the Byzantine
@@camincorp the blue mosque is basically a modern replica of the haiga Sofia. it's like saying the cathedral of Cordoba is Castilian architecture when it's Grenadian architecture.
Modern replica ? Do you know the date of the building you are talking about ? It is obviously an Ottoman building. It is a part of the Classical Ottoman Architectural style.
Video: "Ottoman Mosque"
Byzantine Greeks: "Are we a Joke to you? All the did was add minarets to copy OUR church 😢"
I hate to be the guy but... That was originally a christian construction, a bizantyne church rather than a mosque. Nowadays most of the great byzantine churches have been converted to mosques but never forget the eastern roman empire might when constructing theese, so it is mostly roman architecture. BTW there are still byzantine churches that have not been converted into mosques, such as a church in Ravenna Italy.
I am saying this because it would be unfair to say that the Alhambra in my country was a spanish christian construction just because of the current politic and religion of the region, that one is a true islamic sontruction, hagia sophia however is not, it even has a greek name, is not a islamic construction, it is roman-christian modified later slightly by the ottomans. Just a slight opinion of a nobody.
I didn't mean to make any political statement, but the build isn't based on the Hagia Sofia but more or less the Blue Mosque and similar Ottoman mosques. It's Byzantine-inspired architecture for sure, but distinctly Ottoman.
@@Silvarret Sorry, I was not either trying to bring any politics at all. Is just that in my opinion, the most unique features of the classical otoman architecture are just.. bizantine, not all of curse, it is a blend, butif you go to istambul and visit both, you will see it for youself in my humble opinon. I just wanted to be stated how important the easter roman empire was in the shaping of many architectural traits such as the cascading domes. I feel those romans are too easily forgotten.
💪✝
Super random question I love your videos and I’d love to share some of my builds but how do you screen record in such a good quality? 🤔🥲
Why are you so talented?!?
