hey love ur vids. Just got the A1 and I don't see a toggle switch for the 115v/230v ?? Is there none on this printer? I can't find and info on this anywhere uggg
good video it helps me alot thanks
Didn't they recall these?
Yes, but certain people keep posting videos about them, makes no sense. Why !!!!!
@@robinparker99 views maybe
@@Zeltroixso they get comments like these
They recalled them due to a problem with the cable connected to the bed. I think it was a problem with the bed hitting the cable or smth
Because the problem was fixed
These printers work great . The round ams clip goes on the tube and black stepper motor wire to the right. Great 👍🏻 review
What about TPU and nylon using the ams?
@@EclecticLensYT no idea
@@EclecticLensYT I dont know about nylon, but for TPU it is not recommended to use the ams but use the standard spool holder instead.
Is this a direct drive? I hate bowden tubes lol
yes is directdrive. the tube is only for guide
I returned mine. It was a pile if cr@p. I’m gonna stick with what works. Prusa for me. What bambu lab are doing to the 3d printing world is great. But I find the printers just need a bit more reliability
Can you go more into detail what was crap on yours? (Besides the callback)
@@reinerreinbrech7431 It's subjective, some people love the prusa because they are good printers that are reliable but my A1 worked better and faster than my prusa mk3s+ ever did. smoother prints, faster and a colour system that actually works but for less than the prusa costs. Yes there is a recall of the A1's and most were fine but they recalled them all just in case. I sent mune back and brought the P1S and that is far far better than the prusa and the A1 are. But again it's down to personal choice. If you want a printer you can spend more time tinkering with then buy any printer other than a Prusa or Bambu Labs as they just work, the prusa needs slightly more setting up but when set they both just work. Personally I prefer the Bambu now but that's just me.
Mine has been 100% reliable out of the box. Not a single issue and prints insanely well.
@@sam_millen mine too, that's why I asked
Good move bro. Bambu labs look generic.. like I’m about to weight meat on that thing 🤣 That’s probably why they are cheaper 🤣 Prusa all day over Made in China 💯
