Yeah, it is foreign nowadays to see people, even couples on dates that don't have a smartphone out. As much as the smartphone has brought us, it has taken away so so so much. I miss the pre smartphone days!
Praise God your life got better when Jesus Christ came in. But I pray you would experience His love and grace even when your life feels at it's worst. God bless you!
I look at that every time he does it and I laugh because he’s dead serious about what he’s saying nobody can convince him otherwise 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I agree with him he stands on the true definition of TRUTH! 🤣
I would encourage him, because I don’t believe that his questions are any good. He holds an argumentative side. He looks for loopholes and tries to disprove, how can anyone do this when they have not read the book. The book is supernatural wisdom given to people by the Holy Spirit. Once you read the Bible and study, the questions that he ask are asinine. They’re asinine because he has not read the book. The prophecies alone in the Bible, confirms it’s word.
@@TDMayday Its BECAUSE I read the bible I think it imoral nonsense. I think it was Mark Twain that said .... 👇👇 _"It ain’t the parts of the Bible that I can’t understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand"_

I’ve never seen Cliffe before this video. Amazing stuff. He’s on the ground doing REAL work. Planting seeds. It’s great that there’s still a campus where this kind of stuff is openly happening. Inquisitive minds asking real questions about the meaning of life. I argue everyone in this audience will be better off for attending this. I was much like the students debating Cliffe when I was in college. Jesus finally affected my life as an adult and saved my soul. I think a lot of these attendees (especially the debaters) will be saved in time and they will owe some of that to Cliffe’s work.
I’ve been amazed by his ability to try to reach ppl that I have no clue what they are asking! School curriculum has really polluted they minds. I don’t know what their parents were doing but evidently they didn’t go to church.
Uniquely respond to each person's questions or points, and yet somehow he is able to keep bringing them back to what they need to know. Honest question.. is there anyone in the world that does this better? i'd like to know.
I just turned 30, and I've been an athiest most of my life until a few weeks ago (an out of body, NDE will do that to a man). So as someone who has been on both sides of the argument, I found this discussion interesting and stimulating. I'm Subscribing! Keep making great content!
An "NDE" is only proof that we don't understand everything about how our brain acts under certain circumstances such as low oxygen levels or anything that puts our brains under some physical duress although we can replicate many of those by introducing certain drugs into our system. No evidence what you experienced is anything but your brain under some sort of duress. The fact that your single experience can change you from being an "atheist" to a theists confirms you lack the critical thinking skills which any true atheist would apply before changing their view. You are accepting your one experience as definitive evidence of a god instead of asking questions and looking at all the natural possibilities for it that would be more likely. And please elaborate on this socalled NDE for us. I bet we can come up with much more natural reason for it that is much more likely than 'oh it must be god'
I liked his perseverence, even when he was getting all the anwers more than cover. I believe the more he keeps studying the Bible and the life of Jesus, he will find him self following Him!
I just prayed that these young people open their hearts and mind and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and go a deeper study of Scripture and Church History that they might find an answers of all their questions. God bless you all
Jay Galinada There's no salvation in idolatry, polytheist, and such actual "deep study" would of course utterly shatter the validity and idolatry of Clownianity. But it's not like Evangeliclowns know anything about basic Christian history or theology.
Always happens I love it! Everytime someone questions a Christian (that knows their stuff), and the Christian begins to answer the question then gets interrupted and asked a completely different set of questions. Bro.....that's like shotgun spraying questions with no attempt to accept the truth. Great job by this teacher to hold the faith down!
Unfortunately, that can't be said about 99.5% of Christians. They usually get defensive and start having tantrums. This guy is on the Buddhist path for sure....

When I was broken on the highway shores of Texas in the wake of my brother’s suicide, no breathing exercise or massage stopped my sobbing. But the instant I prayed to Jesus for peace and comfort, a warm honey sensation washed over my body and I felt *peace.* The three men who cleaned up Jimmy’s suicide shared a nightmare the night after. Each woke up in bed to find a “shadow cowboy” standing over them or sitting on a nearby chair. One saw it with his dog. One saw it with his new girlfriend. Each approached me separately to say they saw Jimmy’s ghost, and they were shocked when I brought to them together to reveal to each other that they shared the experience. It was not Jimmy’s ghost. It was the demon he’d seen since he was 4 years old, before he could even play-pretend. Familiar spirits chased him and our cousin into grandma’s house in broad daylight, screaming and crying. Jimmy hadn’t seen that thing for years when he shot himself. But it tried to pass itself off as him. My sister later saw it on dad’s porch, with dad visible through the kitchen window. I’ve had personal encounters with such things. Since I turned to Jesus, those encounters stopped. Guard your hearts and minds.

For the ypung man who said "there was no scripture in old testament about hell" If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. Psalms 139:8 NKJV
The authors of the KJV interprets the Hebrew words with their agenda. The Hebrew word in Psalms 139:8 is not Hell, it is Sheol, a place of darkness and quiet. Judaism never ever teaches that souls will burn in hell for eternity. Judaism teaches impurities are burned off and the purified soul reunites. We recite the Kaddish for 11 months for the transition. All of humanity ( no matter how evil) reunites with the creator. All of humanity is born saved and should focus on their family and repairing the world
@@lightworker4512 thanks for pointing that out. i did some research myself on it seems you are right about it being sheol. My research shows Sheol is a place of stillness and darkness cut off from life and God. Yet what is hell though? It's also a place without life & without God. It's very identical
@@josephg2g If you died and were in Sheol, you would be a place of stillness, of no awareness. If you were in Hell, you would have awareness and be in a place of eternal suffering. They are not identical. In the Jewish religion, we recite the Kaddish, the prayer for the deceased for a total of 11 months. It is our belief that it takes up to 11 months (but not more) to go through your life review and burn off the impurities so your purified soul can enter Heaven. We believe that applies to all of humanity no matter how evil ( even Hitler). We believe we are all born saved from the spirit of God given to Adam through his nostrils. We all come from Adam and the spirit of the Creator is within us all. When Adam ate from the tree of knowledge, he became separated from his spirit of God and was now aligned to his human ego. Most Jews ( me included) believe in reincarnation and karma. The more we learn our lessons in this lifetime, the less hardships in the next.

Cliffe, in regards to manuscript evidence it would have been awesome to discuss with Ethan about how the variants do not significantly change the message of the Gospels. In example, how 99 percent of them are minor grammatical errors rather than an entire change of meaning. ( Jesus Christ, vs Christ Jesus... Jesus Chrst, etc.) He certainly is a man who has done his research which we all respect! In my opinion however, he was not listening to your words to understand, but rather to defend. Thank you for following the example of Christ, and showing him, myself, and everyone here watching your videos love, and tolerance. Blessings.
@@FLMuslimGirl No document in antiquity that has been copied a multitude of times by scribes and others is infallible. THAT is what gives the gospels such credibility. If you research the 5000+ manuscripts, and the evidence behind the texts you will find that no other document even comes within the same ballpark. We HAVE what the authors wrote to a VERY close degree. Listen to Cliffe. He says he cannot convince you that the gospels are the word of God. Fine. Then read them simply as history as the evidence provides, and deduct your decision on Christ. Is the evidence he was trustworthy, or not? Was he telling the truth, or "blowing smoke"? It's that simple. Blessings.

We know the truth from our hearts . I've often said I know the scripture from cover to cover , long before I read it all . Simply because I haven't found any discrepancies in my heart's belief . Raised in a very abusive family , the youngest of 5 brother's I love very much . I doubted nearly everything I've heard in chuch as I tried to relate it to Christian behavior . What was preached was far different than what they practice . If I stole from my brother , I was smothered in guilt . Repenting , by telling Christ I was sorry and changing my ways was not enough without confessing to my brother , I stole the item . Shame became my best influencer to changing my way . If one continues to rely on God for lasting change and ignore the damage done by our mistakes , that person is " like myself " more apt to make the same mistake again threw complacency . Everybody that knows the mistakes you made in the past are a testiment to the power of God in your life and a reminder of things never to do again . What about the scripture brother's you ? What doubts do you have . It's OKAY To question God . But beware " Ask an ye shall receive " . My doubts and the desire to know has lead me down a road of suffering . I suffer today because I want to be prepared for judgement day . I suffer so others don't have to . I've stopped rape's , gang beatings , possible murder , adults from manipulating our youth to become drug addicts , robbery . I've even captured two escaped convict's from west Germany in the church parking lot lol , and much much more . God is amazing and he has always bean their to protect me . I still have a bone to pick with Christ when I see him . He says to give your life for a friend is to show no greater love . I certainly understand this passage , but after I realized the impact of loving thy enemy has had on my views of the enemy , I Also realized it's relevance to one creator and one family . Your enemy is your brother and sister , pray they overcome their ignorances and denials. We are all family . I believe without God my life would have no value . Therefore giving it up for a friend is easy . Suffering to help others seems to be harder but rewarding . This lesson I now seek may be my final doubt in scripture . But most rewarding . How will he teach me why my life is of greater value than I feel it is ? PS. Ask yourself what is the logic behind repentance that excludes your victim when we know intent can be defined in scripture as , actions committed by the heart and or eye's. Why isn't suicide explained in scripture to be murder . Is the judgment on suicide based on intent ? You see , our own intent can hide behind our true desires , leaving us foolishly comfortable with our faith . It has truly been a blessing to be poor and an honor to suffer for my brother's . Luv and prayer's y'all .
Love seeing people ask questions as well as having them answered. I've heard too many people who have walked away from the faith because they rather didn't have questions, or did not have someone who would answer them. Questions are important! God bless!

@Scartoons not totally true. He says over and over there is much evidence not his own opinion. Exact same thing the pharisees did to Jesus. Again you will make a choice , acquiescence is a choice.
@Scartoons so what you have come to in your opinion is that Cliffe is just blabbering foolishness without any reasonably proof or education? If it is true then he is a fool. In the end its your opinion so why waste your valuable time with something that doesn't matter to you? Just move on!
Just stumbled across this channel. I like it, albeit it was shortened conversations. I feel like we could learn a lot from Cliff on his knowledge and conviction. A good way to keep our understanding firm in the faith of God and hearing how people debate and discuss ideas.
What he’s giving you is a condensed version, although it is accurate from what little I’ve watched, and all disciples should want to be able to defend the faith, if only to defend it from attacks by the world, the flesh and the devil.
And it is very good of you and for you. Keep on drinking in the word and those who defend the word. The enemy is very busy. Let me give you a quick example. People say there are more “nones” in a recent poll and maybe within 100 years or less this foolishness will be gone entirely. I say that Voltaire claimed that within 100 years of his death the Bible would be a relic of antiquity. It is still the most purchased book in the world and 10% of China now identifies as Christian. Africa may have more presbyterians than America and we are seeing signs of revival thanks to the Passion Conferences started by Louie Giglio and the collaborative efforts of young worship leaders under the aegis of Maverick City Music. It’s so funny watching now compared to a year ago. I’ve been reading The Bible and I didn’t understand and follow Clay at first. Now that I hear him a year later I understand him more and he really really cares about letting people know about Jesus. It’s so hard to get through to people sometimes and I have noticed that as well on my journey. He tries but at the end of the day The Lord has to draw a person close to him as Jesus says. Great work Clay, I know how tough it can be to know Jesus is truth and people are so stubborn to it. Thank you
@@theoskeptomai2535 We know you're not interested in answering! That is why you run away the moment you are challenged! But as for Jesus being the Truth, well, as the Creator and the source of everything that exists (including you), what else could Jesus be but the truth? Now, as for how you know that you know anything at all for absolute certain... What "truth" do you have to offer us-and what do you mean by "truth"?
We can’t always take a person word as truth because of the platform, their title and their education.. you still have to know it for yourself. We all have to study so we can recognize the errors. They seem small , but a little error repeated by a million people can lead to a million lost souls! We have to prove all things! Cliffe: There were 3 tests to determine if a new testament document would be canonised/ be part of the 27 New Testament books. 3 tests. 1 test: was it written by an apostle or by someone who knew an apostle? 2nd test; was it in agreement with the Torah/Old Testament? Great video, great channel! Just subscribed, ty! I would like point out that the Bible is not vague about hell, and it is very simple. As he stated in the video: "God made hell to DESTROY evil and not give it a future." Real simple concept actually. Rev 19 to 21 explains the context of how it happens. New Jerusalem comes down, judgement takes place, God creates a lake of fire and brimstone (same way that happened with Sodom and Gomorrah, Jude chap. 7. God even showed how it's gonna be. The fire is called eternal, because the result is eternal. It may have taken days, but obviously theses cities are not burning still to this day) where Satan, his angels, and those who rejected grace are thrown to perish. John 3:16-20 echos the theme of the entire Bible: by grace some are GIVEN eternal life, others PERISH (not live eternally being tortured for a few years of sin. You can preach this and that God is love and just at the same time. It's insane) The confusion on this subject among Christians today is because the paganism (he mention Plato ideas) influence that had hell as an eternal place of suffering that permeated all cultures. No doubt Satan's plan to confuse and blemish God's character. If you leave the culture ideais out and just focus on what the Bible is saying, then the subject of hell you will find very clear. Malachi 4:3 even says they will be like ashes under our feet on that day of judgment that is coming. God bless!
"Hell" isn't a place. It is a condition meaning, in trouble, in agony, in misery. It is a Greek word. "Psyche" is also a Greek word that means "the mind". If a person is "psycho" it means "without the mind". When people answer a phone call or greet someone, they most often say "Hello" as a warm and friendly greeting meaning "no trouble or problems". 'Hel' is from Norse mythology. She is the daughter of Loki and ruler of the underworld. This is where the meaning became about a place known as "The realm of Hel"
Fantastic interchange! Kudos to all parties here - challenging conventional thoughts and beliefs is so incredibly important in today’s culture. Critical thought and healthy interchange are being usurped by opinionators, commentators, politicians, advertisers, religion, charlatans and so many others. All too often others want us to believe something that provides them with some advantage - and we’re often too busy to explore the truth of their words and intent and all too often accept what they say as truth. It rarely is. We’re losing what makes us special and what makes faith valuable. I’m certain many on both sides will find this exchange interesting and informative. Great job to all!
By default we all start out agnostic for the mere fact we simply don’t know either way. Then our experiences and upbringing shape what we believe. Whether we are an extreme religious believer or an extreme non religious believer, at the end of the day they are both based on faith since we simply do not know. This is where the true agnostic will continue with this journey of the struggle. Taking it a step further, it all very well could be the biggest placebo ever and its all just our own psychology saving ourselves from the reality that this may be all that there is.
Maybe “Remember It’s a Book.” guy should pick one up or download one for free on his mobile device. I pray The Father draws him to Himself and presses upon him to read about His sacrificial love for him. That the guy will repent and trust in Jesus while he still has time to do so.
Bible is actually NOT "a book"........ The word BIBLE is derive from greek word BIBLOS meaning a "collection" of books. This is why you cannot find a single word Bible inside the Bible.
I think what he's asking is why didn't God create us with the capacity for good and evil, but make it so we only do good? The answer is because that's a contradiction and goes against free will.
@@GreatOutdoors1 we will be ourselves in Heaven, yes, but with one crucial difference. We will no longer have a sinful nature. You've heard the old story about the two wolves fighting inside all of us and the one that wins is the one you feed? The Biblical version of this story is that inside you, there is a lion and a lamb. Normally, the lion would eat the lamb. The lamb stands no chance. That's our sinful nature. Without help from God, our sinful nature will overcome us. When we accept the offer of salvation by putting our trust in Jesus, the lamb overcomes the lion. When we die in Christ, the lion is put to death. We are free from the temptations of sin. We will have, not a sinful nature in Heaven, but a perfect one. Can we still sin in Heaven? Yes, but we won't want to. We will have no desire to anymore than you have the desire to drink the juice at the bottom of a dumpster right now. Sin will be so disgusting in our eyes because we will see it for what it really is: Evil.
@@Malhaloc You said in your original post that we can't have the capacity for good and evil but only do good because that would be a violation of free will. Then you say in heaven we have free will without the urge to commit evil acts. Why couldn't we not have the urge to do evil like in heaven while still on earth? In heaven it seems to not be a contradiction, why is it before?
The testimony of all the believers over all the time. Highest of hopes the young man asking questions asks God to reveal himself to him, asks Jesus to reveal himself to him.
Muslims have testimony of allah, I guess that makes him real too? Many religions have testimonies of all their different deities, does that make them real too? Testimony from people doesn't mean it's real, people can have testimonies of Spider-Man.

That's why it's called FAITH, you take a step towards God and he'll take a step closer to you. Pretty much like any other relationship, unless you get a police report with everyone you meet and come to know?. Do you ask them to prove themselves or do you first allow them to get to know you and together you grow in trust with each other?
So, let's believe every claim someone makes because....faith? This is why cops suck today. A Karen calls and says someone is committing a crime. Cop arrives and is dead set on solving a crime. Turns out, they end up violating someone rights. People arrested for trespassing on their own property. "Because someone said so," isn't a good enough reason. We base the days of the week on yhevfollowing gods: Saturn, Mars, Thor, Freida, Mercury, Diana, Jupiter, Tiw, and Woden. It must mean these gods are equally important. Wouldn't you agree?
First point: The authors of the Gospels don't even claim to be eyewitnesses. They were written anonymously. That's a huge barrier to the eyewitness claim right off the bat. Second: The gospels were written about 35+ years after Jesus death. Mark was written, at the earliest, in 67 AD. That's not an unreasonable amount of time for an eyewitness to live. Matthew was likely in the 70's, again not an unreasonable. Luke and John were 80+, so we're running into lifespan considerations. 80+ is the point where most eyewitnesses would be dead. Being conservative, Mark and Matthew have a decent shot for eyewitness testimony soley based in age, but Luke and particularly John likely wouldn't have been. Third: It is unlikely the disciples would have been literate, especially in Greek. Jesus operated in a backwater province of Galilee and his disciples were mostly peasants/fishermen. It is unlikely they knew how to write at all. Matthew, by tradition, is a tax collector, so its possible he could have been literate. However, the likelihood of these individuals knowing Koigne Greek is even smaller. Greek wasn't exactly a common language to learn to write in the area, particularly for Jews, that would have been Aramaic. Fourth: Narrative clues and disagreements. One really big knock against Mark is that he has a remarkably poor understanding of the geology of the region for someone who supposedly lived there and traveled with Jesus. He incorrectly identifies roads and makes mistakes regarding the placement of cities and lakes. We also have instances in the gospels were events occur where there realistically couldn't have been witnesses. For instance, Jesus in the Garden. He was supposedly alone, yet we get narration as if one of the disciples was right there next to him. Same for Jesus being tempted in the desert by Satan. There's also disagreements between the gospels. The birth narratives in Matthew and Luke cannot be harmonized, they flat contradict one another. That means at least one of Matther and Luke are mistaken, which suggests one of them wasn't an eyewitnesses or spoke to eyewitnesses. Would Jesus tell his disciples two different birth stories? Why else is there disagreement here? The same thing happens regarding Judas. If the authors WERE eyewitnesses, they would have known Judas personally. This is again an event that differs pretty wildly between Matthew and Luke. We can fairly safely come to the conclusion that at least one of these gospels was not in fact written by an eyewitness, or that if it was, that eyewitness was either unreliable or a liar. Fifth: We actually do have one source who spoke first hand to eyewitnesses: Paul. He actually downplays his meetings with members of the 12 because it ended in disagreement, and Paul envisioned a less Jewish future for Christianity than did James and Peter. He doesn't speak much else about the 12 nor relay their accounts of Jesus. Paul also seems to be rather unaware of the existence of Gospels. That would seem odd if the disciples had written accounts of Jesus. Six: The authors of the Gospels were jockeying for positions of authority. Mark was the first, which is why Luke and Matthew are very careful not to directly contradict Mark, and in fact copy Mark word-for -word in many places. Something like 70% of Matthew and Luke was taken from Mark. This means that authority and legitimacy MATTERED to the Authors of the Gospel. If they were actually members of the 12, they would have had unquestionable Bona Fides. Leaving out that they were members of the 12 would make no sense at all. When you put all this together, it is very unlikely that any of the gospels, let alone 2 or 3 of them, were written by Eyewitnesses. There are some parts of the Bible that seem seriously weird to me. Take the end of Matthew 27 for example, with its image of the undead zonbies wandering around Jerusalem. It’s one of those passages that I’ve never heard anyone preach on, possibly because it seems to raise more questions than it answers i just think if this happened it would of made history And yet, as always, when we take the time to dig a bit deeper some things start to come in focus."And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!” Matthew 27 v 50.54
A straightforward reading of the Book of Acts reveals the apostles saw themselves as eyewitnesses. The early Church recognized this and formed the Canon around the historic, apostolic record related to Jesus. While features of the Gospels may still be challenged by those who deny the eyewitness nature of the texts, the best inference from the evidence is the Gospels were intended to be eyewitness accounts.
There's a lot there, but I'll take a couple of the easy ones. 1) the reason the lineages are different has a myriad of possibilities. Marriage laws (if your husband died, you'd marry his bro). Biological vs legal genealogy. Father and mother genealogy, etc.
2) The disciples were likely to be literate. Put aside that some had Greek names, there was a lot of intention to educate in their culture. Many boys learned to read and recite their holy books, at a very young age. I'm sure many of the disciples did, as the "my yoke is easy and my burden is light" would have meant something to them

Do atheists argue with Islam? Why is it that the comments here are debating Christianity. Why not be anti-christ with other anti-christ friends and go live your life?
I advocate for the rational position of atheism with Islam more frequently than with Christians. Do you consider suspending any acknowledgement as to the existence of gods until sufficient credible evidence is introduced to be a rationally justified position? Yes or no.
@@theoskeptomai2535 depends on whether your definition of being rational requires sufficient credible evidence. Would you consider warranted Christian belief per Plantinga credible and sufficient? But your question brings up more questions of what you mean by “sufficient”. How much is enough? And your definition of “credible”. To whose standard of credibility and what standard? Does it have to be self evident or directly perceived by your senses? Would you consider an argument plus *some* evidence sufficient or credible? Most courts and juries do by the way. And what about questions pertaining to the realm of emotion and art? Is love irrational without sufficient and credible evidence? In short, it is not 100% agreed from what I have read, that rationality always and everywhere under every circumstance requires “sufficient and credible” evidence. FYI.. look up non evidentialism, “controversial view that evidence is not required in order for doxastic attitudes to enjoy a positive epistemic status. Belief or acceptance can be epistemically justified, warranted, or rational without evidence.”. Seems to be an active area of debate still.
See, Cliffe will never be able to allow God to draw them in and this is because he speeks to their intellect instead of using the Gospel to open their eyes. If it's evidence that he uses people are too skeptic and took stubborn to accept any evidence you provide. @@CuauhtemocVasquez-ld8cn There is one example of this and in this example Jesus used it to correct, not only Thomas but everyone after Thomas, that it is by faith, not by sight that the just shall live by. "Why did He not just create everything good?" Answer: All of creation, it's whole existence is for the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father - Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. There is a purpose to all of this. The Father in heaven has made an event that ends with His Son as King over all of it. What most people don't understand is He did make it good from the start. Everything was pure and good, until satan corrupted it by speaking lies, which is why Yeshua called him "the father of lies." It could have stayed that way, but that isn't how the Most High spoke it to be. 19 Doubtless you will say, “Why does he find fault, for who stands against his will?” 20 Therefore, who are you, oh son of man, that you give a rebuttal to God? Does the thing formed say to the one who formed it, “Why have you made me this way?” 21 Or is not a potter authorized over the clay to make some formed things from it, one vessel for honor and one for dishonor? 22 But surely God was willing to show his wrath and reveal his power, bringing wrath with a multitude of patience against vessels of wrath that were perfected for destruction, 23 And his love overflowed on the vessels of compassion that were prepared by God for glory; 24 For we are called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles.

He is right. Satan is truly in charge of Sheol/Hades. He rules it, it is his kingdom. Eventually however, Satan, Hades and his angels will be thrown into the lake of fire.
@@awonkemsutu3866 It is not specifically said he rules over hell but there are hints that the so called underworld, like the abyss, is ruled by the devil in different places, like in the Revelation 9 for an example, it is said how these weird looking violent creatures are coming from the pit, from the abyss with their king angel the Destroyer to torment sinful humans on earth. The general truth is that Satan is not suffering right now, he is ruling, he is the king of darkness, owning human souls who lives in sin to get them to his kingdom, to Sheol/abyss after they die.
Hell was created for the devil and fallen angels, but now people also go there if they don't Repent and believe in Jesus. When I was broken on the highway shores of Texas in the wake of my brother’s suicide, no breathing exercise or massage stopped my sobbing. But the instant I prayed to Jesus for peace and comfort, a warm honey sensation washed over my body and I felt *peace.*
The three men who cleaned up Jimmy’s suicide shared a nightmare the night after.

Psalms 139:8 NKJV
Good one!
All of humanity is born saved and should focus on their family and repairing the world
@@lightworker4512 even jonah used to same word... so yes it is sheol and jesus was very aware of that
@@lightworker4512 thanks for pointing that out. i did some research myself on it seems you are right about it being sheol.

I too believe the Truth is written on our hearts.

JMK Choose christ what? That doesn't even mean anything, just empty pagan sophistry. And there's no salvation in idolatry.
Glory be to God.
We can’t always take a person word as truth because of the platform, their title and their education.. you still have to know it for yourself. We all have to study so we can recognize the errors. They seem small , but a little error repeated by a million people can lead to a million lost souls! We have to prove all things! The Bible in any language doesn’t work without a personal relationship and belief that God is Who He says He Is! Faith is the key and relationship is the door to TRUTH!
Haven't seen anyone in these comments talk about Cliffe's teammate. Holy Spirit, blessing Cliffe to continually take the high road, have patience, not get angry or belittling, compliment his questioners, call them by name, get to the root of questions even if they are not expressed very well, often taking his questioners' sides and identifying with them, yet looking at things from the bigger picture and with the important priority. But sticking to the gospel. This is the Holy Sprit's work in Cliffe's life. It is a wondrous thing to behold and I'm glad this is on YT. Cliffe deserves credit also as a co-laborer with God. Kudos also to all the people praying for Cliffe and this gospel outreach. I know that makes a difference. Plus Cliffe has done a lot or work with his scholarship. It is astounding. There were 3 tests to determine if a new testament document would be canonised/ be part of the 27 New Testament books. 3 tests. 1 test: was it written by an apostle or by someone who knew an apostle? 2nd test; was it in agreement with the Torah/Old Testament? And 3rd test: was it used by the churches around the known world, the mediterranean? If it met these three criteria it would be accepted.

It's insane)
The confusion on this subject among Christians today is because the paganism (he mention Plato ideas) influence that had hell as an eternal place of suffering that permeated all cultures.
Great questions by the first guy.

If you’ve read it then what the different translation in the original Greek word for “virgin” that completely changes the context of the deity story?
Sad for this young man. He is asking from a predisposed mind and not really from a historian's perspective
Bible is actually NOT "a book"........ The word BIBLE is derive from greek word BIBLOS meaning a "collection" of books. This is why you cannot find a single word Bible inside the Bible.
No he probably won’t, and he has no obligation at all to. Its called religious freedom
I think what he's asking is why didn't God create us with the capacity for good and evil, but make it so we only do good? The answer is because that's a contradiction and goes against free will.
Is there free will in heaven ?
@@GreatOutdoors1 yes
@@Malhaloc Is it the same free will we have on earth?
In heaven it seems to not be a contradiction, why is it before?

The fact that we base all time around JESUS living and dying. Must mean he's pretty important. Just saying
Also Adam and Eve were conned into eating the apple of good and evil. If people would actually read the book. Then they can put up an argument
We base the days of the week on yhevfollowing gods: Saturn, Mars, Thor, Freida, Mercury, Diana, Jupiter, Tiw, and Woden. It must mean these gods are equally important.
Wouldn't you agree?
We live in the year 2021 am I correct? What has it been 2021 years since that we started counting?????
And no Jesus is king of all kings in my opinion. But who am i. I never even went to college, I was in the military
@@fartbox13b72 Yes, it is the year 2021 employing a Gregorian calendar. Nothing. When did "we start counting"?
Thank you for the in depth reasoning and info, gave me a lot to think about.
@@covert-bird Is it really reasoning though?

@@theoskeptomai2535 easy, we and everything you see was created by God he therefore has ultimate authority! He gave us all the freedom to choose to do good or bad. This means that all of us have to answer for our own actions and can not defer responsibility for how we act on an earthly authority!
"Why did He not just create everything good?"
Answer: All of creation, it's whole existence is for the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father - Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah.
