Did you see Rahat, one of the greatest singers of our generation sitting there quietly with his eyes down when Abida was singing! She is like the Queen! No one messes with her!
Abida Parveen is a living legend. She is at the same level of Nusrat fateh Ali khan. They both are the jewel of Sufi (devotional) music not only for the Pakistan but for the world. You should hear more songs from Abida Parveen. One my favorite is "Soz-e-Ishq" from coke Studio pakistan. There is another wonderful song from Coke Studio India "Madari" by Vishal Dadlani. Cheers 😊
We are lucky to be born in an era where we get to hear a legend like Abida Parveen sing. Her voice shakes your soul, and I have no knowledge of music or singing. She is phenomenal and a true legend. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person once and she was truly the most humble person you could meet. God bless her.

🇩🇪from Germany Frankfurt am Main : Waw Waw Waw what a great great Song. Two Legends on the same pitch 😳. This combination make me crazy and it brings to cry 😢. So high and so deep. Nothing is better then to listen these both for hours and hours. And I listen this song for so many times, but it is still not enough to stop listening 🙉. My mind. Great job 👌🏻
The thing is that they have been training since so many decades everyday without missing a single day. This makes them so skilled and confident with their pitch. Even now I know they must have done their practice or as we call it (riyaaz) session for the day. In this side of the world singers treat their singing as a religion and they devote themselves to the craft.
"Sufi" icons: Their compositions often pay homage to a relationship with God as one's lover, spouse, etc. It's an often misunderstood and misinterpreted devotional art form. These singers are masters at aligning the power of the lyrics with specific notes, melodies, and rhythms to deliver maximum emotional and spiritual impact.
What you said ... These guys have reached a level of efficiency that anything don't matter now.. the fundamentals of music are embedded in their DNA.. whatever they sing is beyond normal human reach 🤗
The love abida parveen g is getting from across the border is tremendous and so powerful and good to see at least we are at one page when it comes to music.
They legends mate they doing singing training all day all night so much hard work and dedicated people anyway great job can u plz do reaction on coke studio Allah ho Akbar Thnks
It's nice that you're exploring different music styles. Just one suggestion: Hindustani classical music stresses adequately on the importance of posture. When you begin learning, even though one is required to sit crossed legged, one is reminded enough about posture to open up the air passage. One is required to sit with their backs straight and chest open. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is an accomplished musician who has, over the years, evolved his own style, but you will notice that Abida Parveen's stance is very different and straight. I'm not sure, students would be wise to question the importance of stance (unless one has a physical limitation) before learning how to sing like the maestros.
I have watched and been a die-hard fan of Abida Parveen since her debut on PTV many years ago. I would say that despite both being such genius singers this is one of the performances that I least like. Too dry and clinical. The song dates back to the 14th century, by Amir Khusro. As with many ancient songs/ poetry on the subcontinent, they are still chart-toppers and can be reeled off by the common person on the street!
After watching all these people doing reactions on music videos you are the best one and real one ! original understand music and really not over acting ! Love you bro :)
Raag " Malhar" was sung by Tansen on the darbar or the court of the king to make it rain. Tansen had the power of bringing rain to earth with this Raaga . This video will give you a glimpse how in modern times also we are attached to the roots (somewhat)
When ABIDA PARVEEN JI sings your soul listen to her your body got nothing to do with it that's why you feel connected as if you knew her your entire life. She is something else It's my dream to listen her live.
I agree with you, some coaches are always talking about your mouth and jaw and neck and posture... And there are so many singers who sound amazing even if they are laying on the floor
I laughed so hard when u said some of the coaches in west tend to constrain from such singing and often don’t pay much attention to these sort of singing at this high pitch cause after all humans are singing , not machines and the reason being west coaches doesn’t go out of their confort zone and haven’t master such singing yet. Perhaps one day.. waiting
Music in this part of the world has been polished over few thousand years compare to few decades of the western pop music. Don't think they'll understand much. It's like 5 year old who just learnt to bike criticizing a professional bmx biker because it looks dangerous.
love your reaction truely natural like rahat and abida singing only a true musician can understand all that without understanding the language hats off to you one thing i wish to you you witness rahat fateh ali khan its something else :) i witnessed it live in the uk and its lifetime experience great channel subscribed
Pakistani musicians are levels ahead from other musicians in subcontinent, which is why they are as famous in rest of the subcontinent as they are in Pakistan, and this is the primary reason our Bollywood composers steal their music without giving an iota of credit to original singers, lyricists and composers, what a shame!!!
I think Bollywood songs are very bad currently and has been like this after 1970 but quite original. I don't think Indian or Pakistani non movie music are much different. All come from the same roots. People talk about poets but forget that most of them were born here in India(pre 1947). If you think every piece of music/poetry is Pakistani in coke studio then you are wrong. Khusro was Indian.
@@shubhendranathsingh9888 there was no Pakistan or India at that time but nizame dehli , Mughal empire and other such empires existed. Amir khisro was the disciple of nizam ud din auliya of Delhi sultanate and at that time whole modern day Pakistan was under it but you can't say that whole modern day India was ruled but Delhi sultanate, south was ruled by different empire at that time.
@@osamaalam7685 What? This statement doesn't make Amir Khusro Pakistani as you are stating in your original comment. In India all the religions reside. The language of the poetry is also Hindavi.
@@osamaalam7685 Pakistani musicians, this is the word you used. If you meant about the instrumental music then you should check some history. Indian instrumentalists are way good. We don't need to steal music of Pakistani musicians we have our own musicians.
Abida Perween is like the female version of Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in Pakistan music. Carl I really like your reactions & Pro comments as it helps understand singing more & I mean the western music terms. I live in Leeds UK & I think you are the best music (nuclear) reactor. 👍🎶🎵🎼🎧🎙️🎸🎹🎷🎺🥁
You should have enabled captions.. Codestudio always do a very good job accurate translations. You would have been able to appreciate it even more. Next time if you are reacting to anything from Codestudio, always enable captions.
really interesting that you said that Abida Parveen's voice has so much depth it feels like you have heard it your whole life and are listening to it again. I really do feel that way and have felt like I knew who she was based off of just her voice

Two living legends infront of each other ❤
I've met Abida once and she has that Angel aura around her. Took a pic and went my way. She genuinely is an angel.

Love Rahat sahab
They legends mate they doing singing training all day all night so much hard work and dedicated people anyway great job can u plz do reaction on coke studio Allah ho Akbar Thnks
Totally agree
I just love your comments and opinions on the sound.
I linked this video in the comments of another of your reaction videos. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Keep up the great work. 👍
Thanks for info! 👍🏻☺️
See the respect for each other by both legends 🙂❤️
Nobody is good enough to judge these two legends 😍😍
Arsal Sunny he is not judging them. He is a teacher making his listeners learn music from abida and rahat
Abida Parveen have such soulful voice her voice hit the soul direct. Legend she is.

Lionel Messi’s football,
Abida Parveen’s voice...
Just carries me another world 🙌
Raag " Malhar" was sung by Tansen on the darbar or the court of the king to make it rain. Tansen had the power of bringing rain to earth with this Raaga .
This video will give you a glimpse how in modern times also we are attached to the roots (somewhat)
Adiba parveen is living legend of Pakistan.
Basically both of the singers r legends and u can call them Master of music art
Abida voice and devotion for music is out if this world
Only if he knew the meaning of the song he would have cried.. ... A lot... 😭. It's just a blissful song. It touches the soul
When ABIDA PARVEEN JI sings your soul listen to her your body got nothing to do with it that's why you feel connected as if you knew her your entire life. She is something else It's my dream to listen her live.
WOW. Please react to "Saari Raat" CokeStudio.
You're commentary enables one to appreciate the quality of the singers a lot better
Biggest fan of rahat fateh👌👏🎶🎶
I agree with you, some coaches are always talking about your mouth and jaw and neck and posture... And there are so many singers who sound amazing even if they are laying on the floor
I really enjoy your reactions and the feedback that you give along the way. Please keep it up :)
Those two are legendary mastero of music. These type of singers dont follow music rules. They are litteraly the rules of music.

The best part of the song was given to the chorus :D
......wooh! Goosebumps! Her voice!
Abida Ji from another world just connects our heart
So much depth in her sound.. Finally you said it! ❤️
@@pemadamdul well said ❤️
Abida parveen is so spirtual singer that u can treat patients with it
Please react to some of qurat ul ain baloch's music from coke studio, she's absolutely wonderful Carl

great channel subscribed
@@shubhendranathsingh9888 you are hallucinating it seems , i didn't mention anything about amir khusrow at all in my main comment.
There only 2 rules with singing.
1. Closed eyes
2. Open heart
😋
Abida is the living legend of my lovely "sindh"
And the second part is" music is here just not music it's in our viens"

really interesting that you said that Abida Parveen's voice has so much depth it feels like you have heard it your whole life and are listening to it again. I really do feel that way and have felt like I knew who she was based off of just her voice
