These two are the legends of Pakistani music industry, and it's basically a fact that there's none like rahat and abida in the whole subcontinent, all of our subcontinent loves them
This was a rehearsal, after this Abida Parveen was ready for the final take, but this was so perfect that the producers wrapped it right there and then, and carried on with this as it could not have gotten any better.

Rahat is like the official successor from the “Fateh Ali Khan” house following Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s death.
Abida on the other hand is regarded as the finest sufi music artist to ever exist and hailed as Queen of sindhi sufi (mystic) music.
These both artists are a very big deal.
The amazing thing is that was a rehersal for recording
But they perform as much accurate and highly qualified the producer decided to launch this rehersal as a final record
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is the pinnacle.
Chaap Tilak is a poem written by a poet and a singer from the 14th century, Amir Khusrao.
The background is an Ajrak design which is a traditional Sindhi cloth...
This is hands down single greatest track from Coke studio. They are still trying to top this performance. Failure to this day. I am telling you guys.

This song was written By Amir Khusro indo Persian poet for his Spirtulal Leader Hazarat nizammuddin Auliya. & this singer's are awesome.💚❤💙 they make this song as a Masterpiece.

Rang by rahat and amjid sabri another classic also allahuakbar by coke studio, javed bashir Naina moreh, he has a unique voice too
It isn't expected normally from most singers but when you read these artist's names.. well... you already know that smth mind-blowing is coming (not to undermine our other artists who are great but these two are legit legends and you can see why)

The Human voice can be trained to sound like a musical instrument in Indian Classical music. Thus the Singers always start and then are accompanied by the varied Instruments. So they lead and the musicians follow. Words are repetitive because the Singers are actually " making" the music. words
don't matter. Eventhough Here they are singing a devotional Ballad written some 800 years ago by Amir Khushro (called the Parrot of Hind) in Braj Bhasa ( Language). akin to Hindi.
You should also react to another classical song 'Rang' by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and late Amjad Sabri. It also a coke studio song. You will probably like it.
You should listen to his old coke studio song named 'Garaj Baras'. You will be stunned!!

You need to understand the classical music first. They r both classically trained and very well trained. If you follow Nusrat fateh ali khan ,Rahat was trained by him.since his child hood,he has been performing with Nusrat. Similarly Abida parveen too. You need to go back some years ,if you really want know about their singing.

That is basically (the runs) and typically Indian classical music of the subcontinent.
