    Ahmed Jehanzeb is the younger Singer out of the two. We grew up together like brothers in Karachi Pakistan, Ahmed Jehanzeb was also called the "Wonder Boy" with a golden throat. He started his singing career at the age of only 4 years and at the age of 8 he Performed sold put concerts in South Africa. He learnt n got his Eastern Art of singing from a Proper Master 'Ustad' at the mere age of 8 yrs old I think. Anyhow, he is also an actor and has sung n acted in many Pakistani Soap operas and for Pakistani and Indian movie. In short words, Ahmed Jehanzeb is a fighter, a guy with a golden throat and a brighter heart!

    They've used a 7-beat rhythm cycle, unlike most musical compositions (most of them use 8-beat or 6-beat rhythm cycle).

    O most generous one, o greatly forgiving one, o most merciful one, O most mighty one, o you whose favour is quickly achieved. Yeh jo nadaamat ki maala hai mere gale men parhi Tasbeeh is ko bana de ilaahi -x3, This rosary of repentance that lies around my neck. Please turn this into a means of heartfelt prayer and praise of your perfection. Allaahumma inni as’aluka birahmatika Ya z’ul-jalaal, O god, I ask you by your divine mercy O majestic one. Apne kiye pih jhukaaye hoon sar, dil mein ranj-o malaal, My head is bowed in regret and shame at my actions, and my heart is grief-stricken. Tu jo sune nah sunaungga kisko yeh fariyaad main, Tu hi sami‘ ul-baseer ul-mujeeb -x3, If you don’t hear my plea, who else would I appeal to? You are the all-hearing and all-seeing answerer of prayers. Rabbe azaan-e bilaali bhi tu Arham bhi tu aur jalaali bhi tu Kun fayakun ka bhi khaaliq hai tu Tu rabb-e mustafa Allaahu akbar. You are the lord of bilal’s call to prayer You are compassionate and you are also formidable And you are the one who commands the universe to ‘be’, and it is You are the lord of muhammad mustafa God is great. Tu rabbe murtaza Allaahu akbar Rabbe siraat-I mustaqeem Allaahu akbar. Tu rabbe kaa‘bah Allaahu akbar. You are the lord of ali murtaza God is great The lord of the straight path God is great. Nooh ki kashti ko dekhta hoon Hauze nadaamat men dooba hua hoon. I see the ark of noah I drown in the sea of repentance. Ya raheem Kar de tu mujh ko qurbat ‘ata Ya kareem Dar-guzar kar de meri khata -x2. O merciful one Please grant me closeness to yourself O generous one Please disregard my misdeed. Ya raheem Rahmat ka teri talab-gaar hoon Ya kareem Bandah main tera gunaah-gaar hoon, O merciful one I am a seeker of your divine mercy O generous one I am your flawed and sinful slave. Darya-e aatish men ham bas yoonhi jal jaayenge ‘Gar tu sahaara bane ya rabb sambhal jaayenge. We are fated to burn in the river of fire But if you become our support, we can be saved. Tu hi to wuh raushani hai kih jis se main ghaafil huwa Jaane anjaane gunaahon se kuch bhi nah haasil huwa. You are the light that I became blind to By committing witting and unwitting sins, I gained nothing. Ho teri nazr-e karam to yeh mushkil bhi tal jaayegi, Tu hi lateef ul-khabeer ul-haleem -x2, If you cast your merciful gaze towards me, this difficulty too shall pass You are the benevolent, the knower of unspoken prayers, the clement. Rabb-e deewaar-I z’ul-qarnain tu Rabb-e mai‘raaj-I kaunain tu Rabb-e ismaa‘eel o zam-zam bhi tu. You are the lord of zulqarnain’s wall You are the lord of the prophet’s night journey You are the lord of ishmael and of hagar’s well. Tu rabb-e ibraaheem, Allaahu akbar Tu rabb-e jibraaeel, Allaahu akbar, Rabb-e malaaika, Allaahu akbar Tu rabb-I kausar, Allaahu akbar. You are the lord of abraham, God is great You are the lord of gabriel, God is great The lord of the angels, God is great The lord of the fountain of kausar, God is great. Apne ghulaamon ki de ghulaami Ya mutakabbir ya mughni ya mughni. Make us the humble servants of your true slaves O supremely great one, o fulfiller of needs. Roz-e hashr ka andaazah naheen Bakhshish ka saamaan laaya naheen Hai meri iltija, karde qurbat ‘ata Karde rehm-o-karam, miskeen hai tere dar pih khada. I haven’t the capacity to picture the day of resurrection My deeds are not the kind to win your favour and mercy I plea that you grant me closeness to yourself Have mercy on this miserable beggar standing at your door. Mere iraade jo toote to mujhko pata yeh chala Teri hukoomat men hoga wahi bas jo tu ne kaha. When all my grand schemes fell apart, I came to the realization That you alone determine what happens in your kingdom. Apne habeeb ke sadqe sun le meri yeh dua Tu hi muqeet ul-haseeb ul-jaleel -x2, For the sake of your beloved muhammad, please hear this humble prayer of mine You are the nourisher, the reckoner, the resplendent. Rabbe zarb-I haidar o hamzah bhi tu Rabbe ‘asa-I moosa bhi tu Tu rabaru bhi aur hai kubaku. You are the lord of ali and hamza’s masterful strikes You are the lord of moses’s staff You are present wherever we may turn. Tu rabb-e ‘eesa, Allaahu akbar Tu rabb-e maryam, Allaahu akbar Rabb-e sahaabah, Allaahu akbar Tu rabb-e panj-tan, Allaahu akbar You are the lord of jesus, God is great You are the lord of mary, God is great The lord of the prophet’s companions, God is great You are the lord of the five holy persons, God is great. Nooh ki kashti ko dekhta hoon Hauz-e nadaamat men ḍooba hua hoon. I see the ark of noah I drown in the sea of repentance. Ya raheem, Ya kareem -x2. O merciful one, O generous one. Yes, strings are western instruments. Infact the founder of coke studio 'Rohail Hyatt' was a former Pakistani pop group member. He is an expert in western/pop music. In one of his interview he mentioned how got inspired by our own eastern music and wanted to come up with ideas to combine the east and the west, which he called fusion. The whole concept of coke studio is based on 'fusion' music. This is done to keep the younger /modern generation in touch with the eastern roots. The whole concept of coke studio was the brain child of Rohail Hyatt to experiment with this fusion with all kinds of artists which Pakistan is rich with. It turned out to be a huge success. In Pakistan if you talk about 'fusion' music, then you talk about coke studio. Rohail Hyatt produced coke studio for the first 5/6 years. Then he handed it over to 'Strings', who stayed uptil season 10. Season 11 was taken over by 'Ali Hamza'. All of them are pop stars in some form of another and got a chance to carry on with this experimentation. They have kept coke studio alive, with their passion for music.

    So here’s how it works:
    1)Indians got good actors; Pakistanis got Good singers
    2)Indians got best Batsmen in the world, Pakistan got best Fast Bowlers
    Off course there could be some exception, but generally that’s how it works.

    It's a Sufi metaphor: you are a drop of dew (insignificant), God is the ocean, and the way to the ocean (unity with God) is through the river of fire (prevailing over trial and temptation).
    This bit (like all Sufi philosophies) is actually directly interpolated from the Quran where Allah says if you choose to call yourself a 'believer', you will most certainly be dealt trials and losses, your reaction to which will make evident if you are genuine.
    If you read Sufi poetry, you will encounter these metophorical words very often: dew, ocean, river, fire, burning, drowning.
    You'll hear the same words and similar lines in Nusrat's qawwalis, i.e. aag ka darya hai aur doob ke jana hai = it's a river of fire in which you must drown to cross it.

    5:41 For non Muslims who don't know, their was a King named Zulqarnain (or Dhulqarnain in English) he had built a wall of Copper and precious metals somewhere on earth to keep species of Yajooj and Majooj locked in. Every day they dig the wall and go to sleep at night. but in Morning wall becomes intact again. one day when their leader would say Inshallah we would finish tomorrow the wall would fall apart next day and they would bring havoc on Earth before end of times. those who don't believe the story of Noah from Quran can see his boat now as its recently discovered. those who don't believe in the story of Quran about Feroh of Muses, can see the deadbody of Feroh now. similar The wall of Zulqarnain is real. we muslims firmly believe it. and also you should know still more than half of the planet is undiscovered. we don't even know what's under the oceans.

    You ask us du we hear the girls?
    Yes I heard them very lightly in one where they sing hmmmmm up and down. And in many places where they are matching there voices to there males counterparts background singers. If you listen them very carefully you will feel it.

    You should study about ghuzeng, sitar and veena.
    When Europe were figuring out string here in east people were using string as daily musical instrument. First research about string.
    What u hate when foreigner reacts to indian or any eastern video, they talk without knowing any history.
    First study then talk. Atleast do that as a respect.
    They think that they know everything.

    Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan comes from a long line of amazing singers.
    You can find all of them on UA-cam - if interest in comparing some great voices that have much in common but are still unique
    - His father the late Ustad Amanat Ali Khan;
    - Uncles Ustad Hamid Ali Khan (on Coke studio too) (and Fateh Ali Khan);
    - His elder brother the late Ustad Asad Amanat Ali Khan.
    Hamid and Asad used to perform as a pair for the first part of their career.
    Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan is known for doing things his own way, even when performing compositions originally made popular by his Dad.
    I think the song "Insha ji utho" is available on UA-cam sung by at least 3 if not 4 of them (separately).
    All of them were are revered and very popular.
