I can't be the only person who remembers the New Arnold's set as being the same set that was used as a dude ranch or restaurant or something in the earlier 3 part Westward Ho episode. i recognized it immediately when I saw this episode "live" (on TV)
I had mixed feelings about the new Arnold’s when it was rebuilt, to me, it looked like a German pub, it just didn’t have the vibe of a real restaurant, I didn’t like the picnic style benches, they should have had actual booths in the new Arnold’s, like they had in the old Arnold’s, they should have made the new Arnold’s look a little bit like the old, but I thought the swinging double doors were cool, along with the stained glass window behind the swinging double doors, and the diamond shaped stained glass windows where the bandstand was located in the left hand corner of Arnold’s
Chachi didn't mean to. Cause the fire started after he threw the apron on the grill which he forgot to turn off. Arnold's needed to have a new appearance while another competitor was beating Al in the restaurant business before the fire started. Al forgave Chachi and later on Fonzie forgave Chachi after having an argument with him.
The new Arnold's was really good. Fonzie got a real office and a desk with a push button phone.
It would've been good to see some of the firefighters visit the grand opening of the new Arnold's and seeing Fonzie giving them the thunbs up.👍
this was 1980 -- publicly thanking firefighters/law enforcement as a patriotic gesture or political stance wasn't born yet
Excellent upload
Thank in you

The jukebox in the new Arnold's was used in Family Matters, after Urkel burned down Leroy's and the restaurant was built as Rachel's place.
Urkel: (in a geeky voice) Did I do that?
If anyone from the United States Military had attended the grand opening of the new Arnold's, Fonzie would certainly show them respect.
Fonzie and Arnold have a brother type of relationship
There wasn't an Arnold. That was the name of a previous owner.
They really knew how to mic up... everything!
I liked this Arnold better than pat morita
You mean Big Al?
Why is Fonzie's office in the shitter?
He always referred to the can as his office. Whenever anyone came to Fonz for something he'd always say
"Step into my office".
At the 13 second mark someone couldn't get out of the shot fast enough.
Who?

Carpet in the ladies room? Terrible idea!
My grandmother had carpet in every single room of her house - except the basement
Chachi should be In jail for causing the fire.

Totally agree : if it ain't broke don't fix it !
Old place looked bigger with more room to dance
And what is with the bar area. Just takes up room.
@@wildmike951 place looked like it could not hold many people I would hate to sit at them tables no backs to them
