The ladies all went for Barry but not me. Personally, I loved Robin, one of the twins who sang lead on most of this song, mostly at the start and end of this and harmony in the middle. Maurice, Robin's twin sang harmony here as well. Robin wasn't the traditional heart throb but I would take him any day. He had a wonderful voice, amazing vibrato and great sense of humor.

Well, what a great surprise for me is to see this video to Mr Natural
    thanks for accepting my suggestion
and I love your attitude, how you enjoy the song and the contributions you make
"Mr Natural" is one of the songs that has accompanied me in life since it came out there in 1974 (I am 63 years old)
It was the first video in which I saw the BEE GEES
The lyrics are very deep and make me feel identified, the melody has American rythm & blues influences, and the alternation in the leading voices of the brothers Robin and Barry plus the fantastic backing vocals with the third brother Maurice make it my favorite BEE GEES song
"Mr Natural" is a song from the transition period from ballads and romantic songs to disco-style music.
I give you some context data:
    1) "Mr Natural" was a commercial failure both the single and the album
I consider it a song (and an album) unfairly undervalued
The next single and album in 1975 was a huge hit in the U.S.
    2) "Mr Natural" was released at March 29, 1974, and just a week later ABBA rose to world fame in England by winning the Eurovision Song Contest on the historic night of April 6 with the iconic glam rock "Waterloo"
I know of your priority for ABBA, which I share My query is:
Did you see ABBA's consecration at Eurovision 1974 with Waterloo?
    Here I leave the link:
    ua-cam.com/video/Vp1_OKawHYw/v-deo.html
Thank you very much for choosing "Mr Natural" for this your second video I value it as a personal gift
I send you a big hug with all my gratitude from my city and country Buenos Aires Argentina

I spent many a Year in Germany dancing to a lot of music that is VERY rare in the USA if not ever played. Robin Gibb of the Bee Gee's went solo in the early 80's and scored three top 10 hits in Europe that never charted in the US. Great Dance songs. Try Juliette, How old are You and Boys do fall in Love

Nobody can surpass the Bee Gees in terms if songwriting and switching tones andbtunes excellently. They are in the Book if Guiness as the most successful songwriters of all time. The middle Sir Barry Gibb was knighted by Prince Charles as the most successful performer and composer. He is married to Lady Linda the Miss Edinburgh. The twins Maurice and Robin are amazing.

Hello, it's s great pleasure to see you
And you are so lovely in this reaction You shine!
    "Mr Natural"
is the most underrated song by Bee Gees
fantastic harmonies, grestes lyrics, the music is brillant!
In my opinion "Mr Natural" is a masterpiece!
The people don't understand this incredible song
But one year leater the same people loves "Nights on Broadway", another masterpiece!
I like so much the two Bee Gees transition albums:
    "Mr Natural" & "Main Course"
With those two albums You have a lot of greatest songs:
    Charade
    Voices
    Mr Natural
    Nights on Broadway
    Come on over
    Edge of the universe
Fanny (be tender with my love)

I really enjoyed your reaction and I love that song! Barry Gibb (The oldest of the three brothers) wrote/co-wrote 16 Billboard #1 hits, but it so cool that you listen to not so famous songs. If you are going to react to Too Much Heaven you must see the video while doing it. If you want to react to another song which was not a number one hit then I would recommend Bee Gees-Alone.

Frode Apeland - Barry was not the sole writer of the Bee Gees songs as many people now seem to think. Even the songs written for others like Streisand, Celine Dion and Kenny Rogers were cowritten and coproduced by Robin and Maurice. Of course when they were kids Barry wrote the songs because the twins were only about 9. Once they became teens the twins, especially Robin, cowrote almost all of the songs (it's written on the liner credits) and both even wrote their own like those on Robin's several solo albums. His solo albums were really good, especially, "How old are you". Robin was also nominated for knighthood due to his work as an historian as President of The British Heritage Society but he died before it was awarded and it can't be given posthumously.

@@susieq9801 I appreciate the way you underline the importance of the other brothers here. I wrote Barry in my comment simply because he is the one who is credited on most No 1 hits. However, Bee Gees were a three brother act and they were all fundamental for the success.

@@robertaclark3286 - He would have been SO proud. He never forgot his roots or gave up his citizenship (Barry took dual US citizenship) and lived in Thame since @1983 until he died. He was well loved in the town. Even in the 70's he wanted his older kids to grow up in the culture and be educated in England and they stayed in the UK even when he was working in Miami. He said the taxes were very high but it was worth it.
