If you are going to react to Too Much Heaven you must see the video while doing it. If you want to react to another song which was not a number one hit then I would recommend Bee Gees-Alone.
Frode Apeland - Barry was not the sole writer of the Bee Gees songs as many people now seem to think. Even the songs written for others like Streisand, Celine Dion and Kenny Rogers were cowritten and coproduced by Robin and Maurice. Of course when they were kids Barry wrote the songs because the twins were only about 9. Once they became teens the twins, especially Robin, cowrote almost all of the songs (it's written on the liner credits) and both even wrote their own like those on Robin's several solo albums. His solo albums were really good, especially, "How old are you". Robin was also nominated for knighthood due to his work as an historian as President of The British Heritage Society but he died before it was awarded and it can't be given posthumously.

He was well loved in the town. Even in the 70's he wanted his older kids to grow up in the culture and be educated in England and they stayed in the UK even when he was working in Miami. He said the taxes were very high but it was worth it.
