3 Day Water Fasting - A How To Guide is a video where I give you my own experience with a 3 day water fast and show you how you can do this style of fasting yourself.
A 3 day water fast is very beneficial to the body. Sure longer fasts are also great but for those of us that have very busy schedules doing a 4-10 day water fast just isn't reasonable. 3 Day water fasts benefits exceed those that you will receive from intermittent fasting or even OMAD. I prefer doing the 3 day water fast once every other month.
3 day water fast ketosis is a awesome bio-hack. If you are in the state of ketosis prior to the fast you will find that you don't crash as you would switching from sugar burning to fat burning during the fast itself.
3 day water fast weight loss is always a important benefit of the fast. When you are fasting you spare muscle and your body burns that fat around the waist and the visceral fat that is associated with so many diseases. Weight loss and fasting go very well together and is considered to be a healthy way to accomplish fat loss. This water cleanse over the 3 days will give your body time to detox, heal, and rejuvenate as fasting is a health strategy that is almost required for good health.
Many people ask how they can navigate a 3 day water fast with exercise and it is important to realize that the 3 day fast is a time for your body to heal and recover. Pushing the exercise hard while fasting is never recommended. When fasting we like to stick to like exercises that keep the body moving but nothing strenuous like long distance cardio or heavy weight training.

Literally started today and came to see who else is doing it too! Before I started, two weeks prior I was doing one meal a day and worked myself to fasting for 22 hour.
That’s probably the best way to do it. It probably makes it easier for you.

@@ifrainmajano6252 I did those 3 days then waited a day and I did another because I ate raisins. Today, I am on day 4 and debating if I should continue until tomorrow. I feel refreshed and renewed. Tomorrow or today, if I break it today, I'm going to make some hot water, sea salt, and honey with MCT oil. Then about a hour later, have some miso soup and tomorrow am, a green smoothie and eat watermelon tomorrow night. Then I'll be ready for food. How did you break your fast? What do you think about my method? Please share any expertise. World peace to you.

I’m on day two, but I’ve had small meals like yesterday a bagel, and then two boiled eggs for dinner. And loads of water in between and with meals.
Today have one slice of bread, with some olive oil and water.
Will it still work for me or do I need to totally off food?
Did my 12 days water fast last month and I could go on for another week but stopped. Its the best thing you can do to yourself. You just don't feel hungry. Sleep deep and feel connected spiritually. Its calming

I'm doing my first 3-5 day and am wondering if coffe/tea should be included or not. I also have some electrolyte mix that I'm not sure I should take either.
@@austinciliberto8210 don't include anything buddy.. Just plain pure water.
@@austinciliberto8210 I disagree with the previous commentator. You should DEFINITELY include electrolytes. Keep it simple, though: Quality salt, magnesium, potassium, and maybe calcium (dissolvable powders in water with a little lemon juice).
Did my first 3 day with friends , not easy but felt amazing and rewarding after ,support from my friends helped a ton . Enjoying these next 2 weeks and getting back on for a 5 day wish me luck 😁.

I'm 53 and 6 months ago was diagnosed type 2 diabetes. I cut all breads, pasta,rice and processed foods. I eat more fiber, fish,salads and beans and eggs. I also only drink water and maybe 2 cups coffee a week now. In 6 months I'm down 42 pounds! Can't wait to see what my A1C level is now! Also I do feel alittle better and my legs are starting to look better. Lastly I'm hardly ever hungry anymore. Can I also do this fast? My goal is to put my diabetes into remission and keep this lifestyle.

Great video! According to some of my research you can drink black coffee (no added sugar) and stay in a fasted state. I haven't reduced coffee leading up to fast, and continue to drink 2 cups of black coffee a day during the fast
started yesterday afternoon for the new year, I'm 19 153lbs, did intermittent fasting for two weeks as prep and hopefully all goes well, Liquid IV for when i go to the gym and bone broth as meal stamp

Thanks for the great video. Im a mom of 3 son. Now is my first water fasting experience. I had my last dinner yesterday at 8 pm, and I've already surpassed 24 hours. Surprisingly, I feel energetic and not hungry. I'm delighted to hear that bone broth can be very helpful. I hope I can complete 72 hours. Wish me luck!

1. How much water do you intake on a water fast
2. Do you still workout?
3. I have Ulcerative Colitis so the benefits here particularly for inflammation, immune system and gut health seem fantastic. I presume I should consult with my consultant at the hospital before attempting this? I may try 24 hours first anyway.

It's easier than I thought. Along with mild exercise, I managed to lose 5 lbs.
I plan on doing a 4 day fast next month.

I started Monday I am 25 years old and really wanted to try fasting because I have been having a lot of bloating in my stomach (I love food) and wanting to get back in shape as a former track runner i just wanted to get a restart on my body I also eat healthy but also have my days where I want something bad but after this fast I want to be able to start fresh before the new year comes. it’s Day 2 I feel good just hungry but hopefully I still feel good by the end of this and for anyone that’s curious I am a big weed smoker I only use my glass bong when I smoke and I feel fine I cut back alittle because I know I am fasting but 2 hits out of my day and I feel good but that’s just me I hope everyone has a good holiday and a new year 🫡
Started this last night after my last meal and it will go on until Thursday night for a 72 hour period. Great way to start the year, although I have never done a fast like that. Im extremely used to IF so figured it wouldnt be too bad. We shall see!

@@dr.nickzyrowski i did it!!! Dude, feeling great! A little hungry lol but absolutely magnificent. 10 lbs down in 1 week total from this. Maybe you feel the same after but junk foods kind of gross me out now. Not sure if that feeling will last forever but the thought of eating a pizza seems gross to me for the last 2 days since i stopped the fast. Wow. Definitely going to do this 1x every 90 days. Any cadence you do these fasts on?

Doing my 3 day water fast now. On day 1 and actually feel great. I do these once every 1-2 months.

Today is my 2nd day of my 5 day fast. I usually do Intermittent fasting or just OMD. What I do and I think it helps is put some Celtic salt in my water and also take just a bit and let it dissolve on my tongue. It helps with the minerals your body needs.
Iv been doing 3 day fast 1 day eat for about 4 cycles now. Really needed a rest to create better eating habits

I am currently eating raw vegan, so I would not be using bone broth or some other things you mentioned, but you are providing valuable info. that I can use. I am doing a 48 hour water fast right now, and I will be avoiding any salt, or electrolytes though. I am a college student who lives in a hostel and I don't have much control over the type of food I can eat, still I am doing it, 52 hrs and counting. Hope I will be able to achieve 72 hrs mark.

I've been watching many UA-cam videos about water fasting, but none of them include information on how to properly intake water. Is there a specific time or manner of drinking water during a water fast? Additionally, what is the recommended daily intake in liters, considering concerns about excessive water consumption affecting blood levels? What discipline should be followed in terms of water consumption during water fasting? Could it be that i missed some information regarding water discipline during water fasting?

I fast 3 or 4 times a year, usually for 5 days. Very occasionally I do a 10 day fast depending on the inflammation levels I have. I then break the fast with canned sardines, sauerkraut and bone broth for the next few days.

I think the only thing that you should absolutely avoid is coconut water because it will spike your glucose

How do you infuse the sea salt into the fast?
As I do this fast, I start to wonder... how are we suppose to eat food? I've struggled with over eating and weight gain all of my life. I did this 3 day water fast 12/14-12/16 and I redid it because I ate raisins and wanted the full effect. I started this time around on 12/22. I'm on day 4 as I'm asking for guidance from my spirit guides if I should continue.
However, I don't feel hungry. A little tired, yes. But not hungry. As I wonder, how are we suppose to eat food? I remember reading in the Bible about fasting for 40 days and 40 nights. I'm starting to realize, it wasn't that hard. The hunger pains will subside.
Yet, I still have this question: how are we really supposed to eat? How were we created to eat? It's obviously NOT 3 times a day.

Not an expertise but let me try to answer. Ecclesiastes 10:17 says, "Blessed art thou O! land when thy king is a son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength and not for drunkenness.
I believe anything that is overdone is not right same applies to food especially if you are a spiritual person and you desire a clear channel between you and God beating or punishing the flesh is helpful. I know for a fact.
I have Crohn’s disease and I’ve done bone broth fasts but I don’t absorb all the nutrients from my food so I worry about doing extended water fasting. I do 3 day fasts when I have a high fever in bed. I wonder if that’s Gods way of making me fast. Maybe I should try it before I get sick.

Hi! Sorry very late reply but yes I did for only 2 days and only lost .5kg and thats becos I have PCOS :( Its really hard to lose weight when you have PCOS unfortunately

I didn't know this was posted a week ago! I'm gonna start tomorrow as soon as I wake up. Also, is coffee okay during fasting? It's gonna be my first fast, and I was thinking of going for 7 days, but is 3 days better?
Small update: 4-5 days in and I was shocked to see 4.5 kg weight loss.
75.80kg to 71.35kg was truly shocking to me.
I am truly intrigued in this water fasting and yes the side effects are real, i.e. headaches and energy loss.
I am now planning to do this again next month!

@@austinewan9364 I did around the 2nd and 4th day but not morning. I entirely just drank iced black coffee and cold brew without add-ons at Starbucks. So far I saw no negative effects apart from the constant headaches.

Yes, I workout... I don't know your situation in details so im not sure why your BS is tanking.
@@dr.nickzyrowski My glucose is usually in the 70’s to low 80’s when I’m IF but after 48 hours of a water fast it always drops to the 50’s. I usually quit when it gets that low. Maybe if I do a light workout when it goes down into the 50’s that will bring it back up. We’re going to Europe for 3 weeks. I’ll try it again when I get back. Love your videos and information. My husband and I really enjoy watching you and we’re both taking your supplements now.

When I stated my three day water fast I got palpitations when i was at 24 hours. I got out of breath really fast and was dizzy when i stood up.
I then stopt the fast and stated to eat some fermented food.
Can someone explain to me why i got these palpitations?
