I don't think it's army's fault that much... the song time is longer (4:30) so it's harder to have a lot of views.. as rm said at suchwita... it's done intentionally by RM ... it's on my daily playlist now

@@luv9qq258 being honest compared to every other bts solo venture and group album, this was definitely overlooked a lot. It wasn’t an amazingly performing album, don’t get me wrong it performed good but not nearly as well as a bts members solo album was expected to.

More than having a parasocial relationship I really feel that I grew up with Namjoon, when mono droped I had just become an army and it was THE album that depicted my situation to a tea so much so that it was kind o creepy ahahah, then indigo drops and it's the same exact things. It's really comforting as much as it is sad that we went throught the same emotion even with different struggles

this album really is a work of art. the story he tells through each song, the reoccurring themes, and the individual genres. you can just tell how much care he put into it :’)
i can't physically let two days pass without listening to at least one song from indigo. this project means so much to me, especially because it was the first one from joon that I was around for, given I became an army in late may of 2022. mono holds a special place in my heart, it's a masterpiece IMO, but indigo really put me into the game. it's such a diverse album, and its messages really hit. I've done great diving in the lyrics of every song, specifically through namjoon's own comments on them in his little documentary, and now I feel so protective of them. i think indigo deserves all the love it can get, because honestly, I think whoever hasn't listened to it and read its lyrics yet is truly missing out. what's funny is, namjoon recently said he's "off the indigo mode" already, and he's currently working on RM4, which may well be released before he goes to serve- if we're lucky. regardless, I'm really happy to see he has the drive and motivation to do music without feeling pressured. that's the last thing i'd want for him. i hope he can work at his own pace and make something he's proud of, no matter how long it takes. i for one know for a fact that I'll be around to support the hell out of it.
Something about RM’s songwriting, I feel like he’s always been a mix of melancholy and hopeful that just like speaks to me on a different level. He’s always had a way of putting words to vague ideas or feelings I’ve had like how does he do it ITS SO GOOD
As a korean i feel like there's no one particular he's talking about, but rather he is talking at and about himself. In many korean poems, 'You' is not actually you or other person but the writer themselves. So what looks like a romantic songs or lyrics are self-reflective and mirroring meanings

i'm so glad you include the lyrics in these videos! It gives people that may not know him or don't bother to look up lyrics (jail!) a chance to understand what he's saying. This album is incredibly underrated it's so good, truly my comfort album I love it so much. And I so agree with what you were saying regarding them feeling like your friends. The whole album feels like having a conversation with an old friend

Last year, I wasn't in the right mental space to appreciate this album with the due time, energy and focus. Now as it's almost the one-year-anniversary of Indigo, it's only now that I know, love and truly appreciate this album as I should have back then.I just can't get over what a freaking masterpiece this album is. Not only the music but also the album itself, it is so beautiful!
The way Joon lays himself vulnerable through his music is something I'll always be grateful for. Honestly, artists like Kim Namjoon and the rest of BTS we get to see once in a lifetime and I'm truly glad to have met them in my life(time). Joon has been working on his new album/project and I'm so curious how that will turn out. He mentioned that it would be completely different from Indigo.
When the music video for Wild Flower dropped, I watched it in silence and kind of sat there just sitting in my feelings. I listened to the full album the next day because I couldn't handle the emotional onslaught so late, and if I had a sound-proofed room, I would have yelled and screamed. Thank you for expressing what I couldn't.

This album is a masterpiece! No question. On top of that, Wild Flower is something I never knew I needed but was gifted with when I needed it most. I don't know how but Mr Kim Namjoon definitely put some kind of drugs in it because I AM ADDICTED!!

Never too late to discover Indigo....its one of those perpectual good listen....Indigo is Namjoon laying bare his genius soul.....this album is best to listen thru from song 1-10 in respectful focus before trying to delve into the words and then the deep meanings....and there is alot.

17:25 I totally get you on this. We dont know them, we really dont but like .......we also kind of do? We know alot of what they share, but they have also been so honest and transparent with the lyrics in thier songs that they almost feel like a window into thier souls in a sense. I will never be that person who says that I understand them and I know them but I know that they have always been alot more open with us as fans in a musical sense with the many projects that they produce/write and share so that is why we have a deeper connection to the music that they make. We are actually watching people grow into themselves as humans, as imperfect people in this insane world. We all relate because isnt that all of us. omg i've been waiting for this react!!!! i truly think that this is an album that people years from now will look back on and realize how slept on this project is. everytime i listen to it i'm reminded just how good it is and it somehow gets better. my fave song off the album is also closer but wildflower did have me fully sobbing so i have to give that one a close second lol

Finally! 😭💜💙 I love this project so much. Wildflower still gives me goosebumps every time I listen. I'd really recommend you check out his concert in Rolling Hall (on UA-cam) where he performs all of the songs live. So GOOD! Also in the Indigo Album Magazine Film and on his interview with Zach Sang, he explains the tracks a lot more in detail. Also his Suchwita interview with Yoongi is such a treat, but anyway I digress. Yun is - I believe - the name of a Korean artist then Namjoon very much admires - he knows tidbits about him that even some experts have not heard. Yun was tortured if i understood his history correctly. That is a quote in the song by him and the "I wanna be a human 'Fore I do some art" is him, too (I think).
Youjeen is part of the Korean punk-rock band Cherry Filter.
There are so many legendary artists on those tracks. It was funny how some of them reacted when they were asked for a collab.
One of them couldn't believe it and took an hour to reply but wrote the lyrics in 24 hours or so. One of the female artists was afraid that her voice would overtake the song but it turned out a perfect fit. And Tablo said yes before even hearing the track - he also had at that moment no time - I believe he was boarding a plane - just got called by Namjoon and said, knowing that it would be good, yes.
