Freind bought a Defender 6×6. I've used it a few times for work hauling cement mix, lumber and one hunting trip. For as big as it is its rides good, its flexible & stable. Turning radius is impressive until you get in tight woods. Would love to see someone make a rear steer kit for it, like super atv does for the Ranger.

The Chief said we will add one within two years. I plan on using the Defender 6x for the extra traction and clearance.

I had the reverse chain brake at 14 hrs. The only problem I have had with it. I guess we will see with time if the transmission is a weak point.
Very, VERY rare occurence... Rarely opened Can-Am transmissions (gen 2 +) even less so on the rear engine V-twins
Great review! I live on a flood plain with black basalt clay mud. I thought the 6 wheels would get me through the mud. Also need comfort for bad back age 55. What do you think? What do you recommend for farm vehicle? Thank you.
If you need traction and flotation, the 6X6 will be great even with the stock maxxis tires. It's not too harsh a ride either (I was surprised the rear end was NOT dribbling all over the place. Seating is good too, don't forget it's like a work truck. Comfortable like a basic pickup, but not like a GMC Denali if you get my comparison
It "only" $23k for a base model with no doors or windows. with such a killer deal like that I should probably buy 5 or 6 of them!
Good review , but I don't think you can speak to its capabilities in the mud. I would put this machine against any other utv or sxs in the Alaskan bush river crossing and deep peat. Nothing is unstoppable but these come damn close buddy.
I've sampled a modded unit andit's actuallually not bad but for the unit in this video, it's a press unit that I can in no way shape or form modify, I would not take this thing for any serious offroad like deep mud or skeg. it would probably sink like a rock. Not made for that but at the same time I've seen what #Ostacruiser 's rig can do...

We cannot drive on the highway with these in Canada. On a gravel road it hit a little over 100 kph but it does not like sustained high speed driving. It was not designed for that.
@@PowerSportsQuebec in Russia , they put numbers on different ATVs and getting special rights , like a tractor , they can drive on the highway and in the city like ordinary cars , although there are still few of them . but if we have the opportunity, then in any other country, too, I think it is permissible to achieve the right
@@user-bg2yn5ts7u In Canada there is liability laws... government, cities, municipalities, atv clubs etc... its extremely hard to have permission for ATV / UTV on public roads.
