@@ostacruiser I’m gonna comment poach here but I recently ordered the osta winch rope and when I received it I was surprised to see some stickers in the package. And also I loved the fact that mrs osta personalized a message on the outside. I cut it out and it’s magnetized to my tool box. Thank you so much
I am running a can am defender 6 x 6 limited 2023 I have the side mirrors all 3 under seat boxes and fender flares.. I use mine on a cattle farm in SWMO . It is my daily driver
Sweet rig, definitely gonna be one of the first things I buy after I win the lottery lol. I recommend putting a third tire in front of the two when you're dragging your trail and tie or bolt all three together.
Very nice machine. I looked at one but realized storage room was an issue. Ended up buying a hd9 dos cab . Just fits in my garage with my wife’s car. Lol. I am very happy with my hd9. Definitely a huge step up form the OG commander .
I ordered a 2024 6x6 limited 3 weeks ago. can't wait for it to arrive so I can add some accessories to it. These are great machines. Thanks for the great video.
It turned out absolutely bad ass, I luv it so much iam gonna talk the wife in to a new purchase! Like u said what an all around amazing machine!! Huge shout out to Can Am!! Thank u Osta, Good day and God Bless
You did done soo very well the drone shots and with the speed ramping,i love it soo much Dave! ALso the blue on black mix fits freaking awesome! What an awesome machine!
Nice one OSTA If you bolt the 2 tires together where they touch. You won’t get as much of a windrow of snow left behind. Or add a third tire in front. It acts as a V plow. Making pulling it much easier as it’s not loaded with snow. I used to pull them behind a skidder in the oilfield when opening up new roads. Works awesome CHEERS FROM MANITOBA
Nice unit. I have the 2023 xmr mosey oak. I use it for plowing too , but I did spend the extra for the hydronic left to right swing. Get rid of the stock bulbs and get led in them and make sure you adjust the headlights, as can am like to light up the trees. Dave I don’t use the tires for packing down, I just pack it down with my truck
👌👌 osta got that beadlock mounting technique down to a science🙌 100% an inch pound wrench, or an idea what your doing, cause it is easy to over tighten them bugers.
I ran 28" Blackwater on my Outlander XT all summer (now that I got a fuel pump in it, lol) and man, do they claw their way through anything, very impressed!
Looks awesome and the fact y’all have snow is crazy down here in Louisiana I am still wearing a T-shirt and some days even sweating. I need to talk to S-3 and see about front 2” forward arms for a Ranger Crew for my brother
Nice build. I’m not a “blue” fan but it does pop in that snow. I did the same build on my defender 4x4 this summer Super atv 2” forward arms and 32” system 3 xtr 370. Ecu flash and adjustable dalton clutch kit. It’s a beast. Keep up the great content. The “Fleury” gang in Ontario.
Take and bolt them together 4 bolt atleast in square to help with the middle and shave of some lower lugs to give smooth edge or throw old car hood with good sloped front under the we use to do this with snowmobile for sleeping in the fields when we were young made so cool tracks .
Since tires are shipped folded into each other I most times pump like 30PSI into them and let them sit for couple of days, then take the beadlock back off, reset the tire and put beadlock back on. Helps.
You guys should do a swap meet like what cleetus McFarland did flog off all your stock Can-Am parts add old setups and do a meet and greet at the same time
Love my 6x6 limited it pulls a post pounder some crazy places osta we need to find each other on the trails some time look for a black 6x6 and a nasty black dodge. Cam am for the win
I just got a new 2023 Defender 6x6 limited also a couple months ago based alot on your "deep six" videos.. Very cool rig for sure. Kinda bummed that the 2024's now get the smart front dif instead of the visco lock. I guess with having 100% 4 wheel drive in back makes the visco lock ok. I stayed with stock 30" tires/wheels for dirt trails but bought a full set of SS360 sand/snow tires for dunes on bronze System 3 beadlock wheels. Cool rig!!!
Had nothing but problems with my visco lok on my 6x6. I basically gave up after it became completely ineffective after only 1000 miles or so. Now I have what’s essentially a Detroit style mechanical locker in the front. So far I’ve broken two CV axles (mickeys hot tub was not nice to me) and a day after repairing, I have clicking again. Not a fan of either so I’m guessing/hoping the smart lok is at least better than both these options. It only cost me about 3000$ to realize this. Yay!
Wish you'd put the exact links to the build items so I could just go buy them! I've got a 2020 Defender 6X6 and always looking for ways to rad her out!
If you have one more tire do 3 in a triangle formation even a smaller tire in the front will knock down that windrow and give you a Lil more room on each side 😉
The blue looks great. I keep thinking it’s time to swap by Outlander Max for an Outlander 6x6 as I seem to do a lot more work with it than play these days!
I'm curious as to what can am has up its sleeve for the defender platform. The chasis has been largely unchanged since 2016. I'm hoping for a power bump. Love my X3 and my defender tho! Great videos keep up the good work.
Hey David I love you videos I watch all you videos and the are really good. I wish I had the money to come out there but I barely have enough to get food and and stuff because I don't have my job I just got laid off and it's really hard
Osta, what’s the van like of it gets submerged to bonnet height in water ? Would it cause electrical damage within the cab ? I need to buy new UTvs but my issue with the can am I’d like the heater, eletric windows etc would that be damaged if it was fo be in deep water frequently
Kinda What I thought Osta we don’t submerge for long but have on occasion been stuck in the water I guess we could DI grease all the connectors and try waterproof a bit 🤣 love the big 6x6 defenders ! Shame you can’t get tracks for them
How durable are these mechanically engine and transmission i'm considering buying one to do the job of an atv (slug pellets) but at the same time replacing my old LR defender that does very little mileage but is the only thing that gets to the (mud)grassland once November arrives, also would the 650cc manage thicc mud up to te rims?

I don't have any clutching yet but want to throw in a full stm setup, the tint is 5% on rear and 20 on the sides
it doesnt POP like blue and yellow, but its the professional pop which is subtle but BETTER looking than a full pop contrast.

A third tire in the front of the drag would make it a lot easier to pull and wouldn’t leave the ridge of snow in the middle. Acts like a V plow then
