I watched this whole thing and it was just so nice hearing you talk about your thoughts on tracks and what made them so good. It was just really neat to get another person’s in depth perspective on all these tracks which made me think in depth about my enjoyment of the all them too. Also those final 5 are all very good and it was kinda funny watching you struggle over choosing DS Wario Stadium and Mount Wario. Overall just a good series and a 200cc version would be entertaining at some point in the future!

And now I’m gonna talk about the battle between the Final 5, because WOW that was very exciting! Especially the silence at the end when it finally hit you who deserved to win between Wario Stadium vs Mount Wario.
If you ever do decide to return to this for 200cc, I’m definitely gonna watch, cuz it’ll be so much fun seeing which courses you look at more positively in that light.
But again, this was a fantastic pleasure to watch!
This was legit my favorite track-rating on UA-cam, really cool series to follow from start to finish. It was great hearing how reflective and thoughtful your takes on these tracks were, and the "showdown" in the final 5 was actually very exciting; I was curious to see if anything up there would shift (and, at the risk of minor spoilers in the comments, I was very happy to see what happened with 3DS Rainbow Road). I agree with everyone who says you should try this on 200cc, since a lot of these tracks feel extremely different with the extra speed/strats/shortcuts!

Watched the majority of this, and I really enjoyed the process. Of course there's a lot of things I disagree with, like London being the worst city. I think it's pretty good despite the long straightaways, it gets way too much hate imo, and the music is S+++ tier. DK Jungle is also just ehhh to me. But Mount Wario will always reign surpreme. Wario Stadium is fun, but it's also just a dirt bike track with tricks, Mt. Wario has a much better theme and more variety in gameplay. And for the worst track, well, Dry Dry Desert will always be my archnemesis.
As long as you enjoyed the process I consider that a success, since of course not everyone will agree on everything and that's fine.
I'd definitely agree that theme is DS Wario Stadium's one real flaw since dirt bike track has been historically overused and not the most visually appealing. I'd be curious if more people would love that track if it had that exact layout but with a more unique theme.

Just got around to finishing this video! This is my last chance to rant about DS Wario Stadium so I'm just gonna do that.
I've never liked DS Wario Stadium. Apart from always getting destroyed on it online and the dirt bike theming, which are part of it, DS Wario Stadium always felt like Excitebike Arena with extra steps. Half of the track is just spam R, turn left, repeat. The few turns that aren't there just to bridge two tricking sections are alright, but they're no Yoshi Circuit. And yeah it's engaging for the entire race, but the gameplay still feels lazy.
Anyway, this has been a blast to watch. If you do in the future make a 200cc ranking, I will watch it in its entirety as well.
