I like Mario kart but I have a feeling the mobile game is on life support
I've never checked this game out, is it any good?
From a gameplay perspective, it depends. However, the game is still generally greedy. Not as greedy as it was prior to the Battle Tour, but still greedy, especially for new players, as the score requirement to get five Grand Stars in later cups become more difficult to the point of being borderline impossible (i.e., this tour requires 11,400 for five Grand Stars on Airship Fortress R/T in King Bob-omb Cup, which would be impossible if you just started).
@@ketchupdragon73x I know next to nothing about all of it. Thank you for the explanation though, but if you don't mind answering, what do you mean when you say borderline impossible? I never really understand why people use the word borderline, it doesn't make sense to me.
@@Miles_Action Comparing the small amount of characters you have upon starting with who can have more than one item, you will not only be at a disadvantage in the race due to your opponents having either two or three items while you only have one and it could either be a Coin, Mushroom, or special item that either does not immediately deflect non-Blue Shell items like Red Shells or does not deflect them at all, it will even be harder to get there because of you not having them.
For instance, you have all non-variant Super and Normal characters like Toad, Mario, Koopa, and Dry Bones (also the free High-Ends you got after completing the tutorial), only to see every single one can only have one item and is not maxed out while your opponents have the characters with the upper hand. The same applies with karts and gliders, with the latter in particular being really helpful in getting you five Grand Stars. You have none of the characters, karts, and gliders that have an advantage and the course requires a challenging total score of something like 8,500 or worse like 13,000 to get them. The "borderline" part refers to how a majority of things are at a disadvantage in every track and every tour, particularly when it comes to the last cups of the current tour going on thanks to how high the score requirement to get give Grand Stars for that course gets. Sure, the beginnings are not bad at all, but later on, it will be.
The only tracks that need to be in MK8D is: Velocity, Los Angeles and The new course: Athens.
There are still some left to come before the end of this year.
And it's called Vancouver, not Velocity.
