Big Joe left Everton way too soon. Still the last manager to bring any silverware to the club since 1995 and he was only there for 2 seasons. Absolute legend.
When tackling was allowed. Wonderful
to see.
My first ever Derby. Ran on the pitch at the end.
The Birth of Big Dunc an Rhino!
Both been 1st team coaches too :-)
I smashed my Shin in the St End when Duncan got the 1st on the seat in front..Well worth the Pain and hobble for 2 weeks later💙
You can tell perfectly that smartphones have wrecked the atmosphere in football nowadays,
Loved the match! 🤯💙
And so the love affair began between Everton Football Club,it’s fans and The Big Man. The good old days when you could tackle an put a challenge in..Can’t wait to be back in my seat at Goodison....COYB....
RIP Gary Ablett ..say hi to my lovely mum.
This fixture at both grounds is the only one where both sets of fans will stand together & zero trouble but maximum passion.
My first ever Derby game....been downhill since like 😂
Ur lucky been downhill since I was born I'm only 14😂
Joe's dogs of war ! takes me back.
now that is football. today that game would of been stopped every other minute.
Welcome home Joe
BIRTH OF THE 'DOGS OF WAR'
Love it! Absolutely fucking battered them all night. Oh and that atmos - the RS never stood a chance! If they'd played with half of that passion in that disgraceful - no, CRIMINAL - run of 23 derbies without a win, the record over the last decade would be far less one-sided.
All the years I never even realised there was a streaker @1:34 😂
Was abar 15 remember it well boss night
Stuart Barlow in the gwladys st there
This was when they never rolled around crying on the floor now if one gets poked they’ll act as if they got shot
Don't remember Molby Rush Barnes playing for Liverpool that night 😳 Great atmosphere though, get on the steward giving chase after the final whistle 😂
That was me in the orange burning him off 🤗😂
The more things change the more they stay the same!!! UTFT
I’m going 2-0 Ferguson and Rideout
Tackling was that allowed lol
