Thank you for this video. It’s been a while since I used my machine and I removed the wrong screw. when I tightened it back done a piece moved and I continually got wiper error. I was able to fix the position after watching your video.
this same thing just happened to me. i’m not able to fix it!! i’ve only had my machine for about a year. i accidentally removed the fixed knife plate while doing maintenance. after redoing it several times am still receiving wiper error 😢 any suggestions?
Hi, i replaced my knifes with new ones, and installed everything as usual and the washer. But the Knifes wont cut correctly, or the threads are way too long. Can you help? Ive checked everything with the service manual but cant figure out. Maybe the picker isnt out of place?
@@hash8380yes. The knife plate is outdated since 2020 so new knifes wont work. You need to Buy a new assembly, the one with the little notch, it works better than before now! Hope this helps
@@georgminkler120 Hey, I just saw the reply. The thing is for me, I didn't replace the stationary knife. I just removed it to clean under it which i shouldn't have done. Now, my machine just sometimes doesn't cut. I think I might have put it back on wrong but I tried so many times and still the same thing. I can buy a new one if you have a link for one. And what is a new assembly? Thank you

This video is not good. There’s a few steps in the disassembly process that are left out and that makes the reassembly confusing. There’s a space under the copper screw and rides on top of the shim. This video doesn’t show that.

Are you sure you have the piece in the correct place? Cleaned out the area good?

How much movement should there be on the moveable cutter? Also, I don't have a shim under my moveable cutter?
I'm not understanding why you would need to remove the cover on the tubular arm... unless its to just look for debris. ??
I was going to put that.. was no need to remove that piece behind the needle plate.

I have damaged the thin washer underneath the cutter as shown in the video. Would you be able to tell me the name/part number?
