Great progress Mike! You’re a humble fella that tells it like it is. Car is looking amazing and the new parts top it off! Hope to see this car in person one day.
Awesome work Mike! Sorry to see you had to move the wiper arm set-up but that ride is going to be insane once it’s done! I don’t think I’ve disagreed with anything that you’ve done to Egobruise so far!
man I agree 100%. ive been back and forth on the hood on this car. right now it has a stock hood with factory turbo scoop. Its okay, but leaning toward factory pace cowl or nothing on the hood at all ;)
I would just trim the old rubber as a seal between the body and the hinge. Something about metal and on metal and the potential for vibration and rubbing would worry me.
Imagine a random guy at a car show walking up and say man I like those hood hinges who makes those? Fiddle fart fabrication 💨 😅. Those hinges are very nice tho 👍
Early Fox are a mixed bag of metric and imperial, they're very annoying on that point. These trunk lids are actually early 79 only, not even the full year, later 79s had the lip already.
@@HOUSEOFDULA I had a july 79 parts car (and took parts from another one only 2 numbers apart on the VIN) and they both had the lip on the trunk lid. My january 79 Mustang has the flat one.
Haha right on. Thank you. Im not sure how you are seeing "WHITE" teeth unless the camera is doing some magic. Ive had stained teeth (in the enamel) since I was a kid....something about too much fluoride or something in the water in the 80s where I grew up lol. Hell....nothing bothers me on camera anymore but, if I'm subconscious about anything on camera its prob my teeth lol. Appreciate the comment bud. More content on the way too.
@HOUSEOFDULA yeah man you're absolutely right the problem is I'm going to have the same issue with my wiper arm as you... but I swear I was already thinking about ordering them And I'm doing good but I hope you're doing good as always man let's talk this weekend and see if we can get something going
@@thomasmerritt13 Sounds good. And the other option was just cutting that flange off. Likely since you have the same mod, If you order a set from Thomas, he would most likely cut it off nice and clean for you. We are likely the only 2 guys in the world that would need to deal with that wiper relocation lol But I sure dont mind doing the exact same thing I did on my car for yours.

I appreciate that man. Just trying to share my build experience. Definitely! will be showing it around once its built.
The parts are totally cool. The bolts are what make it for me.
Agree, little details like that
Those are killer! Definitely on my shopping list.
Those are pretty slick. I think I'm going to need a set myself now.

Appreciate that! Hard to please everyone for sure, so that means Im doin something right ;) Cheers
I love that your posting more now!
Appreciate it! Its all about what's happening and life, timing for me. Helps that this car seems top be rolling along at a somewhat steady pace too.
A factory pace car hood would look awesome on the Ecobruise

Are you kidding, I live in Michigan this place sucks for weather and pretty much everything else. Great video, those hinges are nice. 👍
Looks super nice. Any word on a date for this years Fox fest test?
You know....I have NOT. Assuming they are still doing it, but by now I typically start hearing some buzz talk about it.

Thought about it. And when the car is painted and actually being built I might end up doing that.

FIDDLE FART! Duh! lol
Anlittle suprised you did get yhe ones with the hydraulic hood lifts
I "think" that is still being developed. That and the ones for the deck lid.
Somewhere after painting it black and smacking it, don’t forget to flip it and rub it down! Oh No!!!

Interesting! I did not know that that was a late '79 change, I thought and heard it was an 80 change. I appreciate that knowledge.

So glad you are creating new content! How do you keep your teeth so white?
