Very cool finds Dan! I am a 2nd generation rockhound. My father was a rock, gem, mineral and fossil collector all of his life, and passed his passion and knowledge for this fun hobby to me! Now, in my 50s, I have ALL kinds of neat rocks from around the world, from rare gems and fossils to pretty pebbles, displayed about my home, inside and out!
I very much enjoy your videos and have been a subscriber since last year when I first discovered your channel! Thank you for sharing your passion here on you tube. You have taught me so much about gold prospecting! I have family that live in your area of BC and I have been there a few times (Vancouver, Okanagan (sp?) Valley, Schuswap Lake, Pemberton, Whistler....God's country!). Hope I can return someday soon. If so, it would be a great honor to meet you sir!
I love that you change up topics of your vids and excited to see one on fossils. Here in Mississippi we have awesome fossils but very little gems or gold! My county is awash in Late Cretaceous period fossils of sea and land creatures. Once, I found a gorgeous mosasaur tooth less than 10 miles from my house. Also, a Axis C1 Mastodon vertebra less than 5 miles away!
Thanks again for all you do and also for introducing us to Skippy the fossil freak! Fun! Fun! Keep up the great work! Be safe and rock on my friend! 🕊❤😊

Psylocibin from Magic Mushrooms are now being used in many countries in the World and the success rate is phenomenal. Also MDMA. I know in some counties in the US they are illegal and are in Europe mostly but in some places you can be prescribed such things and in a controlled way. I hope you get rid of your PTSD man... A wonderful adventure Dan! I love it when you do things new to us viewers. I watch a you tuber from the UK called forgotten fossils. It would be cool if you made a trip there some day to do things. I loved your videos when you came to Arkansas where I live! I hope you come back some day and make more!

It’s funny you put this video up. On Sunday I was out on a creek prospecting in Australia where I live and came across a fossil of I don’t know what yet. So much detail in it, it was the last thing I ever expected to find.

Dan, actually breaking a concretion risks irreversible damage to the fossil that may be inside, There is a better method called the freeze thaw method, but it takes patience, which preserves both halves keeping the fossil intact. Leaving them outside through the changing seasons can do it, or use a freezer. More info. can be found on the net.

Wow Dan, to find a ghost shrimp! Un-seen by another human ever! other than your first glimse/lick! For millions of years..... astounding. I have done this, and found fossils in my land - England. Considering we only have a minute selection of possible fossils that have ever been; and may unlikely remain. This is very ever exciting..... your guide looks like alot of fun to be with. Good luck from England.
