Marx on Big Blue is the most visually intense, but Giga Bowser on 3D Land was just as interesting.

I love this because it leaves so much potential, fighting Rathalos on the bridge of Eldin, fighting Marx on the Dragonquest stage, Fighting Giga Bowser on Wily Castle, etc.
Marx on Big Blue reminded me of that Meta Ridley boss battle from Brawl.

Fighting Giga Bowser on a side-scrolling Mario themed map is actually pretty neat, he actually follows you and attacks. You could actually make a pretty cool fight from that.

So final verdict. Bowser's Giga form is the only boss that can be defeated by level boundaries.

I think I once got giga bowser to jump off of the stage and it was counted as a win.
You should do a boss on lylat cruise or the mario galaxy stage (mostly smg because it has weird gravity)

So is Giga Bowser the only boss that is technically a character? In normal fights he never jumps, just walks around slowly and attacks once in a while
@@axolotloverlord702 Yeah, he's just Bowser's SSB4 final smash given a health bar. He even has properties that were changed between games
yea giga bowser as a boss is just the giga form from smash4 but it lasts forever, just normal fighter AI behing its attacks though i think

The normal Giga Bowser AI (Level 9) just jumps around for the most part but a level 3 or 4 will actually try attacking. I think it is due to how level 9’s prefer short-hop aerials and Giga Bowser is easily the laggiest character.
I have a hacked switch with Giga Bowser so this is how I know (I even completed “The Showdown” in Ultimate).
