TRYING TO FIND TRADITIONAL CROATIAN FOOD IN ZAGREB | #Croatia in 30 days
In Zagreb we taste Croatian food, beer & coffee and review the best dishes in Croatia. Strukli is our go to food choice in Zagreb... People told us Croatian cuisine was amazing and we'd have to hunt out some food very quickly, in particular Strukli while in Zagreb. Our Airbnb host explained about Zagorski Štrukli, which is from/famous in Zagreb, and why the dish should be high on our list of the best food to try in Croatia. Should note, it's proper spelling is Zagorski Štrukli.
Some of the landmarks we visited: Tkalčićeva Street, Upper Town (Gornji Grad), St. Mark's Church (Crkva sv. Marka), Ban Josip Jelačić Square, The Lotrščak Tower and Grič cannon, La Struk, Uspinjača (Zagreb Funicular), Museum of Broken Relationships, Gradec, Dolca Market

PS. Before entering Stone gate there are two plates saying" This is a place for prayer and silence" and "It is forbidden going through the gate on a carriage or riding (horse, mule etc.) or leisurely hum or sing " It is after all a sacred place :)

Nice walk around Zagreb... I hope you didn't miss the Grič cannon shoot. It's at the top window of Lotrščak tower, right next to the exit of the funicular. It shoots every day at noon. And it's very loud :) here is one video on youtube: ua-cam.com/video/l_iliPaLnQE/v-deo.html
