Hello Delonda. I just want to say... where have you been all my short cricuting life. 😊 I love you!! I love your gift of teaching. I have been cricuting for about 2 years with not a lot of time. I'm am so so glad I found your channel and how you make everything so understandable. I just had to drop a note to say THANK YOU and keep it up! God Bless!

Good evening Delonda !!!! I just wanted to say that I was watching a Mr Crafty Pants video and he had mentioned your channel and so of course I had to check you out and I’m glad I did. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who messes things up. You my dear are funny and I’m very happy to have found another crafting friend. Thank you . Now I’m off to go binge watch all your videos.

Hello, can I just say your voice is very comforting? This is the first vid of yours I've found and I love your process. Thank you for making this vid 😊
My first time here. I didn’t even know you could do etching on a Cricut! You personality got me! You got me girl! Can’t wait to watch all you have! Thanks for sharing!
Oh my heavens! I love crafting videos so of course when this video was recommended I clicked on it fast 😂. I enjoyed listening to you talk as much as I enjoyed the process. What a beautiful voice!
This video is so awesome! I am really just learning etching on glass, but to etch on stainless steel is a game changer! Thank you for sharing, and love that you do include the successful projects along with the fails. I am one to try to conserve materials where I can. I just relate to your excitement when project comes out beautiful.
Delonda, I love watching all of your tutorials and have made a couple of your projects. I am visually impaired and because you don't rush through your detail and instructions, I am able to start and finish a project. It may take me a bit longer than normal to finish a project, but I get it done. Thank you again for your tutorials!
This is kinda like when i do the thick-it and ammonia chloride on wood except it's on metal. This is awesome I've often wondered if something like this could be done. Thanks again for showing us the good and bad.
Hey girl hey! Visiting from Mr. Crafty Pants and I instantly subscribed. Just love you. Thanks for sharing every aspect of the process. I look forward to watching more videos
Just a little tip,if you're going this route, which is fine, but I would recommend a plastic weeding tool because with the metal one you're almost definitely going to scratch the stainless. Another option that I think you and others would like is to just buy the raw stainless cups, put your stencil on the opposite of how you did here, then paint the cup whatever color you choose, then remove the stencil and you are left with a very clean image in stainless, very clean lines. I used to do it that way,but then I bought a sandblaster and make the stencils like you did here but just blast the the parts inside the stencil and it's the fastest way to do it because you don't have to paint the cups if you can find them in the color you need already at the store, there's no cleaner lines than a blasted image. Just use a thick vinyl if you go that route. There's a few options to get this type of result, I understand not everyone has a blast cabinet so I included the other options, all can work great once you get the hang of it but blasting is the choice for me
Thanks Delonda! I found your channel after Mr. Crafty pants recommended. I’m loving you! I’ll be checking out your videos. Thanks for sharing and for being so fun! ❤️
Love the video. Have to try this on a few tumblers myself. Just a hint.. if you select both the image/text and the square then up top select align and then center. Makes it perfectly centered. And if you send the block to the back it's easier to see everything
Absolutely love your videos! Thank you so much for showing us what happened when you use too much of the citrus strip! Plan to purchase citrus & tumblers asap- know would have put way too much of the strip on! Lol BTW, when you were unveiling the husky, was soo excited-was oohing & awwwing & yelled out WTG Delonda!
Another cool idea I had to try. I didn't want to dup your mistakes so I invented some of my own. The first one came out pretty bad but the second try came out really nice. Thanx for all the ideas, keep 'em coming.
Excellent! I can't wait to try this. I do believe you would get more crisp and clean lines and edges if you use your burnishing tool (scraper) to really seal down those stencil edges where the stripper might want to creep under the vinyl. Otherwise, you did great a job!
I just subscribed to your channel after discovering you this evening. What an amazing idea! I also wasn't aware that the tumblers were available at $5 Below! Thank you for sharing!
Now i get it lmao🤦♀. But like usual explain everything so well you actually make it possible to follow you and do it. Thank you for sharing the wrong way as well, it saves myself and others the frustration. I would think the thicker and longer the better it would come out, but you proved that wrong lol.
I loved your video and I tried this but for some reason it never worked I left it on for an hour…not sure if I did something wrong? Any tips would be appreciated!
Thank you! I only left mine on long enough for it to start bubbling. If yours doesn’t seem to have any change, the outer material might not be suitable for this process.

Can you etch on powdered cups with ferric Chloride
I haven't tried that; so I'm not sure.
Can you use a soft toothbrush to remove the paint?
That's a great idea.
Can any adhesive vinyl work? Amazon doesn't carry the Star Adhesive Vinyl. I love 💘 this idea to try out.
You can use any brand of permanent vinyl.
