It utterly baffles me how much mage Hawke gets away with being a mage in this game.
Seriously they wander around wearing robes and have a giant staff on their back, not to mention spells left and right. You'd think they would be crammed into the Circle by now.

I haven't even played this game and I'm already in love with Fenris. Why does this make sense? We may never know. His voice and how he talks... is something else. It makes me want to grit my teeth when I hear him talk. Can anyone please agree with me?

After my first playthrough of DA2 and romancing Fenris, I don't think I could ever romance anybody else if I were to go back and play through it again.
I adore his voice, when he chuckles at Hawke's jokes, and the sometimes incredibly smooth things he says. But most of all he's always very sincere, in casual conversation with Hawke and the other companions and especially when he's speaking his mind. He's probably the only companion that wouldn't try to lie to avoid hurting you, and I truly love that about him.
This boi is spiky in places, but is blessed with beautiful, sad, green puppy eyes.
is it just me or does it look like he's looking at Hawke instead of the slave when he asks "are you hurt? did they touch you?" =-D

Grimoires I think they tried a lot new things in DA 2, like having a voiced protagonist, new designs for different races and a new levelling up system. Some of it was good and some of it was like, "SHIT GO BACK"

The whole romance with Fenris (I've only played a rouge so I don't think this counts) as a rouge reminds me of party banter between Shale and Zevren? Zeveren? Ugh the sexy elf assassin from dragon age origins I do not remember the full of it but the lines only come if you romance the sexy elf assassin,

I like that there were two romance paths for each options that gave a different side to the character and different insights. It made the romances more interesting.

I wish there had been a video on Fenris's time with the fog warriors instead of Fenris at some random village he never mentioned any other time. and he never even mentions who the heck that bounty hunter with the slit neck was. just some random nameless man.
Never played DA2 but was curious about the romance. Fenris is a great character and romance but I can't unhear Skyrim every time he speaks.
I'm the other way around. I hear him in Skyrim and I'm like "It's Fenris!" But I played DA2 before Skyrim. If you really want to be weirded out, go watch season 3 of Teen Wolf and see the guy who plays Fenris playing a live action role.

Just follow the heart options and either leave him behind on any quests you tend to do pro-mage. Otherwise, make sure you choose actions and dialog that he'll like, such as anything anti-mage or anti-slavery.
Grimoires well i did everything right i was anti-mage all the time and followed all the hearts, then in the beginning of act 3 when i play his companion mission 'Alone' after that there are no more hearts in dialogue options, and he says he's my friend and will follow me always , he friendzones me there

If you mean her heavy mage armor (and that's one of my favorites as well), it was a mod on Dragon Age Nexus that gives it to you at the start of the game instead of you having to wait until much further in. It's actually an armor from the game that you get much, much later in your playthrough.

I know this game is old af and I’ve only ever played DA:I but should I still play it?
I can't answer that for you, but I'll say that for myself I enjoyed the story and character interactions much more than the game play itself. It's not that it's _bad_ so much as that development was rushed. As many of the reviews state, maps were reused over and over, and enemies generally arrived in three waves. It got boring after awhile.
You should play it if you want to know where is Varric and Cassandra before the events of Inquisition. Beautiful story and action-centric combat system!

Do I have to do Fenris romance in a specific to complete the romance? It pointed out and described what I had to do to complete the romance with him and it says I can’t give the former elf slave a job. Did they patch these for the Xbox 360, or do I need to follow it through exactly like they said on the dragon age wiki?
