It pisses me off soooo bad when I watch stuff like this. The casino robs and defrauds people every second of every day but when someone beats them at their own game they get laws made to put that person in jail.. it’s such a terrible double standard
Casinos don’t rob or defraud people- there is no coercion involved- no gun to anyone’s head. Do they capitalize on people’s ignorance and inability to understand math? Absolutely. Casinos don’t cheat- they don’t have to- the odds are in their favor. More importantly, if they were caught cheating- immediate termination of their license would result. It’s just not worth it. It’s not a conspiracy- it’s just math.
I'm a dealer at a casino, even when I personally encourage people to take a break and get some food that's comped for them, they laugh and say stuff "like then I'll miss my big hand" these people in the casino usually don't care about their well being if they have a shot at the money
Same here@@TILT223 there is something about those people who manage to get away with ripping of the casinos ( and let us just think about those we haven't heard of )
Bet this guy lived a better life than most people ever seen,,, seen it all,, felt every low, heart break, misery etc,, but highest highs,, and will probably pass on with out any regrets. He travelled the road less travelled, (my fave poem) & I'm 48 and felt few highs and lows of life,, I'm not wanting to pass with any regrets,,
Sadly, that feeling of "no regret" instantly vanished the moment Archie passed. For that's when people realize that what you described is *temporary* and void of benefit *right when you need it the most* i.e., in the end-when you're face/face with Jesus Christ to give an account of your life. Keep up the good work. Not missed one yet. I stay in Scotland and the casinos here aren't great. I've been to vegas twice. First one was just an eye opener but second time was one the best experiences of my life. Some buzz. I'm not a big gambler. Always have a budget and when it's gone it's gone but never life threatening amounts. I love watching your videos. Just makes me want to go back to vegas. Think me and the wife are going to try go once a year. Absolutely love the place.
Lakeside... Picturesque?!?! Hahahah! I have some dear friends from lakeside, and none of them would call it picturesque. Barona is a nice resort on a reservation.
Archie Karas; a picture of a man whose life reflects the pursuit of all the wrong things-something he [sadly], now knows too well. *Truth is a stubborn thing.*
The casino paying 6:5 on blackjack is cheating. The casino hitting their soft 17s, or not allowing surrender, or not allowing Aces to be resplit, or not allowing doubling down on any 2 cards, is cheating. The casino that has added a 00 to the roulette table (or 000, or even 0000) is cheating. No longer paying 4:1 on a flush on Three Card Poker's Pair Plus side bet is cheating. If we're going to attack the casinos' bottom line, it should be in legislating the most player-friendly rules...and that involves needing to coerce the gaming control boards into doing that, through any means, legal or not.
So he pleaded guilty - what was their evidence of his card marking? Never got tested in court and might have been acquitted. Can you dig further please Tilt?
The evidence was witness testimony and Karas' own admissions. He plead guilty because going to court would have resulted in a much higher sentence and judges in Nevada are very unfriendly to suspected cheaters since they are afraid of setting precedence that allows cheaters to get away with it.
He didnt take his $50 and head to the mirage. He didnt make his run at the Mirage. He took his $50 and hustled pool and then went to Binions where Benny let him bet as high as he wanted. At one point he had every $5K chip in the whole casino. And it was craps. Not blackjack. Geez. Like the clip at the beginning of the video, this has been well documented over and over.
@@alexj2869 well he won a bunch of money shooting pool also so he has that skill. He beat all the best poker players in those days for large amounts of money also. Unger considered the best of all time This guy took him down for lots of money. He had a rediculous craps streak playing large amounts that I would say was lucky since craps really has no skill involved.
I am professional roullete player. the most important thing is good money management, stop loss, take profit for the day and strategy with more that 96% chances
Really? What's your strategy? How do you beat the house edge? Check out the roulette cheaters/winners videos on the channel page - we've covered a couple.
Half of the video you werent saying anything. You need to stop your “stalling” thing with your videos. This is why youre not getting subs.. youre too repetitive

correction! He turned $10,000 into over 40 million. That's what Archie said.
To many commercials dude
quality of production on these videos, and the content, and the length of them (long enough for information, but doesnt drag on) is TOP NOTCH
If they were true, it would be great.
One of the best video makers on the tube
Wow thanks for such an awesome compliment. Please do come back!! :)

Fraud and theft laws were on the books for 100 years before Archie broke them.
But if you cheat at poker you are stealing from other players

Videos in back to back weeks--excellent!
Explaining how he marked the cards would have added good content and lengthened your video runtime - leading to more ad money
Noted, thanks.
I also would have loved a few more words on "the run"
Amazing quality video. Underrated channel
Legend! Much appreciated!
Sunday always turns in to a good day when I see your videos posted.
Good story.
Well narrated (as always)
Keep up the good work 😊

Excellent video once again.
How do you find stock footage for your videos?
I think a lot of it is actually AI
It’s a sad story of what happens when you lose 40 FUCKIN MILLION DOLLARS
Love the videos!
Thanks man, bit of a crazy story isn't it. Appreciate the kind words.
Massively underrated channel 😎
Thanks man, really appreciate that! We're trying hard.
I can give him a few horseraces but big bets bring down the odds dramatically.

We need to learn more about these hollow chips that were found in his home. Very suspicious 😮
Those hallow chips would contain the ink Karas used to mark the cards.
With all those winnings you never go broke buying US treasuries!
He probably drove the Mercedes Benz on the same days he slept in it
Another banger!!! Sub 411 checking in again!

16 when he went to the States so at 62 not over 50 years there. Card counting would not work for the narrator.
based on the thumbnail, i thought it was Alec Baldwin
Nope, although if he had put on a lot of weight I can see how you might have thought that.

Cheating at a casino is a victimless is a crime they are robbing everyone else anyway thank you for these videos I really enjoyed them paul
Stupid comment😂 people choose to gamble. It's their own fault when they lose.

You sit at a table, you are agreeing to ply by their rules.
When you Cheat the casino, that’s theft.
Don’t like the rules? Don’t play.
@@MewtwoStruckBackthat’s not cheating.
You don’t understand it at all.
Sure the rules are tilted to the casino. But that’s not cheating.

You know this one was tricky - it was bizarre, a bunch of articles we found URLs and links for had been removed... No idea why.
