Imagine what knowledge he could pass down if he were to executive produce a couple albums here and there for younger artists

Tyler is right and y’all chronically online people gotta get a grip on yourself and your reality & stop pestering people who you have no business harassing. Even though you love the artwork doesn’t mean you gotta fantasize and glorify the artist. Take that shit and self reflect on yourself and life perspectives. That’s what art really is, a different perspective in life that you get to see through the lens of art. Sucks to hear a person start to feel tired of creating art because they feel their privacy is being put at risk.

I instantly knew this young man was a musician, and that he loved music as a craft. It was extremely artistic and creative. I grew up in 80-90's music and have not really listened to much since because the art of music is quite different but I know every person has a gift, and he uses his gift, talent, and skill. Much success to this young man! He has my son's attention and he's always been a creative genius to me so I definitely wanted to hear the music once he shared how much he enjoyed this artist's work.

Tyler makes such a strong point here talking about fans and the internet - I'm very appreciative that he was able to talk about it. The spiderman meme is so spot-on in describing how the internet draws connections to every little thing, making people homogenous. It's such a negative side of globalization and technological development, and it's sad because it leads to the burying of roots. People don't/won't know where certain aspects of culture, life, and history come from without doing better research (which the average internet user likely will not, especially young people) and instead just follow what is being thrown around, said, or shown to them on their screen.
It's kinda like roots to everything have been dug up and mixed around together online - nobody knows what comes from what anymore. I'm hopeful about it changing, definitely not altogether, but the fans who do see Tyler's interviews and listen may realize their place in that, in his fanbase and in general. Many of his talks on youtube are super informational and valuable, and if he keeps putting out that message I hope people will follow along. Great interview!

Looking back on it, Tyler was my first exposure to “internet” culture in regards to music. In the late 00’s early 10’s there was that shift happening with online creation and consumption. There was weird things happening in 03’ and 06’ but that stuff didn’t have a platform.
