I love the idea of your post-build videos. The pre-build videos are nice for seeing what's in the kit, but they don't give you a full idea of what the kit will be like to build. Thanks for doing these. I just picked up the Dragon 6749 15cm Sturm-Infanteriegeschütz 33 which looks to be very similar, so your video will really help my build.
i got my eye on the Panzer I sig33 with the whole gun wheels and all.Looks good with those tracks.but ost and winterketten always get me giddy.great review......
Looks like the StuG's cool uncle with a wide body kit and the wider winterketten tracks just set it off with a really nice stance. Oh and I blame Dragon for dropping the ball on the gun periscope... yep definitely their fault with their laxy-daisy policies. The gun assembly looks great! Great video as always Evan, cheers!
@@Panzermeister36 Still slowly getting caught up on everyone's videos. Taking that hiatus just snow balled outta control on more than just the lack of bench time. I will get back to being current... one day :)
On the real vehicle, they surely removed the rear storage boxes in order to perform maintenance on the engine. Curious about the actual support framework/mounts. Good move on the gun sight. Yes, it was telescopic.
Спасибо за обзоры.Русский хакер. побольше DRAGON. из за торговых войн US - RU - дорого. Зведа - грузовик - - колесa. Он точно такой. Great looking kit I built Dragons orange box version of this vehicle lets just say I needed to replace all my sanding sticks after if you know what I mean.
Good video as always: I have the older version and look forward to weathering it to death. Another Question: I've bought some Wilder AquaLine Products. They do reactivate, but do you know if you'd have to seal them after applied if you were going to add pigments or even oils using ISP, Mineral Spirits etc as a thinner? I really haven't quite figured them out.
@panzermeister36 i’m was watching this video series and became fond of this vehicle so i purchased one on ebay, problem is its from cyber hobby which i think is different from dragon. only reason I say that is because it doesn’t have the metal barrel or the the large amount of photo etch as seen on yours the cyber hobby only has a small fret with a couple of grills. any info greatly appreciated
Hello Keith. Yes, there are a few kits that Dragon has done of this vehicle. #6749 and #6713 are the newer versions from 2011, while #6042 and #9123 are older moldings from 1995. The older kits are still pretty decent though!
Great video and looks like another interesting siG 33 kit! I built the Bison I siG33 on the Panzer I chassis a while back and it looks awesome. Haven't painted it yet as I want to show the interior, but have no idea about the right colour for it. Does anyone know the correct colour for Panzer I interiors?
The most common interior for german vehicles was white. Super structure (The area above the main hull for a bison) tended to be painted the same color as the normal exterior but without camouflage pattern. The engine bays tended to be the red oxide though.
Nicely made kit, well detailed. You built it up well and added some nice touches but damn Evan, the Germans built some ugly-ass tanks!!! Thanks for the review but will NOT be building that one 😉
Dragon occasionally will re-release these kits. They don't make any new kits but they'll make runs of their existing "best hits". Keep an eye on the catalogue.
yeah, thanx again, enjoyed that video as much as the stug prototype vid. love the panzer 3 chasis derivitives, always interesting, nice work mate.

Nice kit!!
Great video! Well done.
Do it again
The time will come, my friend.
Anyone know what the interior off the fighting compartment looked like ?
No idea. These things were basically thrown together at a factory. One still survives in Kubinka/Moscow but I doubt it's mostly original.
Love it! 👍👌👏😍
What happened to Kaisen?
I believe they shut down a few years ago. It was just one guy making these things after all. I guess it wasn't worth his time.

Can’t find this model in 2023… must be discontinued. : (

Do you have a instagram account i can follow? Love your videos and you provide great advise
Thank you! I don't have instagram, only Facebook, which should be in the video description.
Video was constantly loading. Didn't watch very much of it. What I saw of the model looked good.
Two other people told me this too, but there isn't any issue on my end or with a few friends around the world. It might be an issue with UA-cam.
